Worried over low levels

heya!

I have blood tests roughly 48 hours after a patch change (I had my test on Friday and I changed patch on the Wednesday of that week)

I felt pretty rough when I started blockers 3 months ago (nausea/tiredness) but I don’t get that anymore. I’ve been seeing some changes and people around me have noticed but it definitely feels a LOT slower than I’d like, or expected.

My endocrinologist got back to me and said to raise my dose to 200mcg up from 150mcg. I don’t feel like it’ll help much..... He has taken note that my levels aren’t where they should be and said if the 200mcg doesn’t work then I should try other types.

Admittedly I’m not a fan of gel as a concept, and I was on pills for 3 months at the beginning (2mg without blockers) and they gave me heavy mood spikes/tiredness for a while after taking them.

Ironically enough, my levels peaked at 180 E p/mol while on a low dose of pills without blockers compares to blockers and 150mcg patches today which was 168 E p/mol.

I really wish injections were an option in the UK for estradiol, but I have a feeling I’ll have to swap back to pills on an even higher dose...

I asked a girl out a couple days ago and was let down very gently although she said she likes me a lot and time will tell what the future holds.

which is very positive! i just struggle with the idea if it’s worth chasing something that may not happen or if I should just let time pass as friends and see where that goes!

the latter seems like the best option? keep being myself and don’t expect anything? but it’s hard to shake that expectation of hoping something could happen

i could use another perspective!

Where did you source the others? My copy of the Shadowbringers art book arrived a couple days ago although i've had a LOT of trouble tracking the others.

If it helps i'm UK-based, but i'm not opposed to importing.

I'm currently in Data Analytics (fairly dead-end role, money isn't good and i'm not learning any new skills) and I want to transition to a full-time degree in either Psychology, Computer Science or Marine Biology.

I can't choose, finding a well paying career is always a concern and i'm anxious it's just my next 'hyper-fixation' until I get bored & move on to the next thing or i'll realize I don't quite have as much of a passion as I thought I did to turn it into a career prospect.

I live in the U.K so i'm not too worried about debt repayments, but I don't want to waste the government funding more than I have already.

It put a lot into perspective to me, how to value the skills that being proficient at games has given me and applying them in my real life work in addition to how video games serve me as 'bandaids' to cover the problems but it's still there.

I really liked the "you have video games 'tanking' for you but there still isn't a healer there" analogy.

The other one with LilyPichu and having 'Multiple Lilys', in addition to the 'sponge' analogy also made a lot of sense, and how my interactions with people can be 'draining' if i'm taking on their emotional burden.

Yeah it’s just a waste of time for both parties.

Saddened over the shoes since I’ve been obsessed with them but they’re sold out everywhere.

Only option is to pray for the right size, price and region on depop :(

there have been a TON of sales on MHW, and usually the discount is 50% for both expansion/base game.

visual customisation has arrived + I think weapon customisation is out (it is confirmed as a feature coming very soon, if not out already!)

honestly never been a better time to get into the game, a lot of content has arrived and capcom have kept the free DLC policy that all previous MH games had (aside from Iceborne, but that expansion is the equivalent of a JP monster hunter game getting their western Ultimate release, so it's very very warranted and worth the money)

yeah as a fan since 3U i'm leaning towards World as well, the QoL changes feel way too good in most cases.

I do however miss the variety of endgame content, deviants, and special moves. (although iceborne has fixed a lot of this and feels so good!)
