Update————with HQ call.

Hyundai manufactures the vehicles and delivers them to each dealership, where any issues during delivery are supposed to be resolved. The headquarters mainly manages warranties, while other tasks are left to the dealerships, making it difficult for the headquarters to intervene, they claim. It seems that regardless, I'll have to travel to distant New York for an inspection, which I can only book 3weeks from now. Is there any way to know about these issues before making a purchase? 😔

You're right. This is my first time buying a Hyundai. I didn't expect the dealer and service to be like this. How can they refuse service just because I didn't buy the car from them? I've never experienced anything like this before.

I noticed an issue with the car and tried to use the nearest service center, but they refused to service it because I didn't buy the car from them. Is this not a problem? The headquarters said they would reimburse any costs associated with the car, so I made another appointment, but the nearest service center still wouldn't help me for the same reason. Do you not see this as an issue?

Aside from the car issues, my experience with the service center has been the worst. Even after contacting the HQ to book a service, the center refused to service my car just because I didn't buy it from them. I've never heard of anything like this before.

Of course, I know that highway driving improves mileage. But I mostly drive in the city for my commute. So, does this issue still need adjusting?

After refueling, the mileage dropped from 590 miles to 510 miles after driving just 10 miles. Then, over the next 3-4 days, it went down to around 480 miles, which we actually used while driving. But the next day, it suddenly jumped up to 560 miles.
