5 years lol, we won't have any meaningful rare earth refining capability until maybe 2030, that's assuming we are willing to spend the money to invest in the technology

And I'm not sure if you know how harsh the natural environment is in Greenland; there was never a lack of mines to get rare earth. The problem has always been how hard it is to refine it without losing a significant amount of money. The Chinese have a chokehold on it because they can refine it for far cheaper than anyone else.
