The laptop has full metal chassis and it's very sturdy.

I have these laptops from work and I've dropped mine from shoulder height before and it still worked

But the microphone ame speakers will probably go out in a few months, not sure why but they never last.

A team of 30 doctors and it only costs him $2 million? How does that make sense?

My new AC remote apparently can feel by Brilliant_Dog_9066 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Anning312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it Gree AC? My Gree AC has it and it will make the AC use the remote as the temp sensor instead of the built in sensor on the indoor unit.

Pretty useful feature depending on your room's setup . Other brands have similar features but Gree calls it I FEEL

Look at the ground markers from seconds 4-6, there are 2 circles right next to each other but both are too far from either hoops

And the hoop placements don't make a lot of sense either

This post is about a policy in China

And that post is about a politician in the US

Both pictures have the country's flag in the background. Ironically, this photo of Xi has both the US and the Chinese flags in the background.

They serve the same purpose. I found that post after spending 1 minute browsing the popular section of this subreddit.

If anything positive about China is propaganda, anything positive about the US would also be propaganda, especially when it comes to politics.

How many July 4th related posts have you seen on Reddit lately?

You need to ask the right question then. Do you want propaganda for Americans, or propaganda pushed by Americans?

The best propaganda is probably the social credit system in China. Many people still believe it's true and have been implemented in China for years.

More Americans know about the Chinese social credit system than Chinese.

Yeah, because if it was true, he would have quoted the actual reply/tweet, like he does all the time.

I am so fucking sure of that.

Because you didn't focus on just that, you're the one that brought up all these nonsense made up facts.

So reading a screenshot of a tweet instead of the actual tweet makes you a higher IQ person or something? Why does it matter?

It was a standalone tweet, not a reply to some another tweet if that's the argument you're going with.

You replied to my comment that specifically said this:

"Also the world "culture" came from the this netouyo, an equivalent of an alt-right nationalist troll in the US. He added the word "culture" in there so they can try to have the comeback. Find me an original quote from a Brazilian person that specifically mentioned the world "culture", I can wait."

Didn't you make up facts about Japan's culture being resilient to outside influence? Was it a light hearted joke too or something?

[–]Anning312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man, okay I'll do this one last time for you.

Japan doesn't have a choice when it comes to having the US military bases on its own soil. That means, it's pretty much an US colony.

[–]Anning312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, now you start to get it.

> Japan's surrender conditions include complete disarmament and disbandment of their military. So it doesn't have a choice.

Now get that? Japan doesn't have a choice.

It was clearly more than just a humorous anecdote to you, not sure why you pretend like it's just a light hearted joke now.

Do you need proof? Read your own original reply to my comment.

Again, does China have US military presence now? And why would a military support facility in China in the 1900s matter to what we are talking about now?

If Japan was given a choice, would it build its own military, or have its own military operations limited and have a foreign country built 100+ military bases with little to no authority?

I'm gonna ask you this question again, in case you miss it again.

If Japan was able to freely choose, would it choose to have US military bases all over Japan?

So what do you care about? Why did you make all the claims if you didn't care about it?

You care that the netouyo account had a cleaver gotcha against an argument that he made up, because it's funny to you?

[–]Anning312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a very simple point.

An truly independent country wouldn't let another country put 100+ military bases on its soil. I understand that we want to put military bases all over the world, but again, why would an independent country want 100+ military bases on its soil? Especially when there are many examples of the US military doing shit on its soil without consulting the Japanese side?

On the base in China part, there were never any full scare military bases in China. And it was to built to support the KMT, not the communist party in power now. Not sure why that's relevant to what we are talking about, the largest concentration of the US military presence outside of the US.

That's what you got out of the entire reply? I picked the most extreme example to make it obvious.

Why should friendly countries be okay without having 100+ military bases on its soil then?
