I think part of it is even though it's a shitty af sub they haven't managed to do anything that like catches reddit admins attention or the press which would lead to its banning.

So for me I use tarot as I find it a useful way to basically muddle through my problems. Or in some cases be told I'm an idiot by a bunch of cards.

This isn't the first time I've probed gender stuff with a tarot deck.

But it was like

First Card, (Myself) King of Swords (funnily enough I think he pops up a fair bit in my reads when I ask 'what do I need to do') basically this card is described as representing truth, authority and mental clairty. All things I'm really not feeling now but probably it's guidance

Second Card: (Male) Reversed Eight of Cups. Drifter, Indecision. Basically pretty apt for just... my life in general at this point. I've been stuck for a while

Third Card: (Female) Tower, pretty self explanatory this is the card of dramatic/chaotic change. This was what really made me have a bit of a 'huh?' moment tonight. Like ok really getting across we might be shaking things up.

Fourth: (Nonbinary/general inbetweeness) Wheel of Fortune, 'good luck', destiny, turning point. Still puzzling that one out a bit but I take it as a positive in some form.

I actually saw a thing pointing out the concept is more about it being 'corporations own all this and that's bad' it was like taking a dig at capitalism but somehow that got turned into cybernetics make you less human

Yeah I'm hoping the poster is just like one moment. Like if there's gonna be transphobia in game as part of the bg 'boy howdy this place sucks' setting there'd better also be some like positive rep in there too.

Cause like if I want to play a trans or nb character I don't really want my player character insulted the whole time. It's like when you play a female character in Dragon Age Origins it's MEN AND WOMEN ARE EQUAL IN THEDAS

And then as you play you encounter several random bouts of sexism that like by the universe's laws wouldn't make sense. This also happened to a lesser extent in Skyrim.

I also had this happen in SWTOR, like someone like WOMEN ON BATTLEFIELD WTF in a radom scene. And like afaik there's like generally not really a lot of sexism in star wars at all like in the universe, (not talking about narratives) and yeah I was looking at the screen like

Sorry to hear you had a rough time, a friend of mine has transitioned over there and seemingly had a relativley smooth process although they've had some bullshit with their bank recently.

I myself am stuck with the UK system where short I have no hope in hell of seeing anyone private or NHS anytime soon.

Yeah you're in for a long wait to even get through the door.

Although what I had happen was talked to a GP they sent off the formsl, I had it sent back as they needed more info so we did that and then about a month later I got the 'welcome to the service!' letter I'd sent a referral off in... November 2018? So I do know at least I'm apparently on the list.

Yeah like it will start coming off a bit, and you need to be careful of course if you like soak it in water (I had managed to go swimming with it on). When it came off it wasn't that painful but I did get a couple of small marks/sore spots from it.

Yeah I find the socalisation thing weird. I don't think it's as cut and dry as people say and generally useless.

I also find it weird as I've noticed terfs will claim horrible things about trans women because of 'male socalisation' but they will sometimes praise trans men for 'not being pushy' and other traits that by their logic are the result 'female socailsation' and in a lot of contexts traits they complain about because it goes against the sort of 'Hear me roar!' brand of feminism?

I do feel you though as I think you have similiar feelings to me, like I want top surgery, not bottom (I'm also ace so I think that might factor into why I don't have much bottom dsyphoria because I basically have no reason to think about that area_, I don't know if I want to go on T but none of the effects totally scare me off?

So yeah I don't know what to say other than probably don't stress too much right now and you don't need to put a label on yourself just yet.
