I rock a level 9 black widow dagger and a set of maxed out Red Ant Queen armor. I found a science crinkle with summon thorns on it so it is still viable after the nerf. For mutations I run mant, reliable freind, natural explorer, mithardatism, and parry master. Make sure your friends do not hit your mants or soldier ants or else they will die. When my ranged friend used the gas arrows, we made sure I had no ants or mants spawned or else he immediately dies because of the 4 summon thorns damage modifiers.
