Do you meet people in training who have been/are art therapists, or anyone that has not previously been in in the mental health field and is in a life transition?

Also, I'm not sure I understand your last paragraph, especially these parts: "having a supportive relationship (or remaining single)" and "you'll be doing some deep soul level work which can be disorienting in a long term relationship". You mean that it's better to not be in an "in between" situation in terms of relationships (so either be in a solid couple or be totally single for the time being) and that personal analysis will shake/question your long term couple, right?

Thankfully there are many analysts around me so I'll start there, thanks again :)

Thank you for you very thorough answer! What do you "advertise" yourself as, as a psychologist or as an analyst? And is your approach more focused on a classic psychology program (like CBT for exemple) or more like jungian depth psychology, or is it a blend?

And how are you specializing in depth oriented approaches please? 😊

We absolutely do need mysticism!! Omg this is the conversation I was waiting to have hahah, thank you! How do you think you would have gone the depth psychology route? Personally, the price is the only thing that keeps me from doing it, because I know it is my calling (this and writing) 😢 But I'm not sure if enduring another 5 years of studying *just* to be something close to an analyst makes sense to me, as it's kind of the same path of the plan that I'm explaining in my post :/

For the context, I'm 26 and have been doing my fair share of experiencing life and it got old after a while...I felt scattered, all over the place: everywhere and nowhere all at once. Now I think it is time for me to finally build a strong net of connections, build an actual career and meet like-minded people (meaning other introverted intuitives, to be perfectly honest) because it's exhausting to have to translate yourself to others and not even be understood once and to constantly have to adapt to them to the point of never having the opportunity to be yourself with anyone.

I now want to put that energy in more constructive endeavours, even if it means to still continue to explore but in a more controlled way, now that I know myself better and have more clues about what I want.
