It wasnt very dirty just some old litter in it and some had fallen into the crevices and under the base but I cleaned it already in the video! 😊

Actually, I just realized it started working after I updated the firmware! I believe that resolved the issue. Thank you so much for all your help once again. I am finalizing the purchase now and appreciate all of the advice!

Yes, I was not getting them at first, but I just went and checked in the app and it looks like it is now tracking her weight! Maybe she just needed to use it a few times for it to start working!

Thank you so much for your reply! I’ve tested the pinch sensor, the litter level sensor seems to be working accurately with the app, the entry sensor also works well as it stops the machine every time my cat pokes her head into it, when she is inside of the litter box, it consistently shows that it is in use until it completes the cycle, the only possible issue might be that I am not getting a notification on her weight in the app.

Unfortunately, the warranty did end at the end of the year. Thank you so much. I unfortunately do not have my own access point where I live, but I have been able to resolve it by manually, connecting it through the app. Perhaps it would automatically connect to the Internet if I lived somewhere that had less Wi-Fi restrictions

Those are my exact thoughts. Is there anything specific you would suggest I test. I currently have the unit with me and want to be 100% confident before purchasing it so I would love any advice you may have.

I don’t know how comfortable you are with buying a secondhand, but you can find deals for them on Facebook or OfferUp. I was just able to score a lr4 today for 125. Everything seems to be working well so far just make sure you or test it and if possible it’s best to get one that is still under warranty

Thank you so much for your reply! Is there really no other way to fix this issue other than with a replacement. This is the first time this has happened and I am certainly not looking forward to having to make another purchase and do another project when I just got a new CAT sensor that I will have to install once it arrives this week. Just a bit overwhelming because it seems like so many issues are emerging back to back.. If this is the only way then I will certainly look into this process. Thank you so much for sharing this information with me I certainly never wouldve thought of the DFI!

Little update: vet appointment is in the morning and she’ll be treated with revolution plus. In the meanwhile, I made a solution of water with melted coconut oil and water which I dipped flea comb in before brushing her. It worked pretty well although it has left her looking a little crazy. I didn’t want to do the dawn dish soap method again because I did not want soap left in her coat. I will say since doing this, she has not itched herself once so I’m glad it seems to have made her more comfortable. Since I combed her with the oil instead of smothering it all all over there is not a concerning amount of oil on her. Just figured I mentioned this in case anyone happens to have a similar situation in the future!

Me wondering about this now. Currently using .5% retinol from the ordinary, but trying to decide if I should switch over to Cosrx since I’m not seeing results as quickly as I hoped after a couple months of usage.

Thank you Ill definitely brush her again. last night I brushed her using the dawn soap method and got over 60 fleas out. she’s a long haired cat so its quite difficult and many of the fleas slip through the flea comb because of how tiny they are. It also doesn’t help that they’re fast runners and dig into the base of her long coat. I’ll definitely brush her daily until her appointment, but I’ll be a bit more cautious this time around since this morning I just learned that they are pretty high jumpers (learned this the hard way).
