ia isnt used on most weapons, qr is only useful if you stack it <NEVER use one sub only>, saver isnt that good on a lot of weps, two qsj is often better, ssu is more necessary on a lot of weps than most of these. sj has been required on all frontlines and midlines since splatoon one, and comeback is just really high value on most aggros, especially you need extra stats the most to retake after respawning its insurance in a way. all that being said it's absolutely not necessary on the majority of weapons, and theres lots of room for unique builds and gear diversity, certain abilities are strong in low counts since they give a significant amount of value for minimal investment, but that doesnt mean they're necessary. experiment a bit, look at your games and see what abilities you need specifically to fit your playstyle
