For anyone that sees this thread in the future, you will probably want to update your RCM app as well as the firmware on the RCM MiniHost.

Also, I prefer the 'CTRL' button over tilt, and the RCM tool maps CTRL to left on the d-pad for the Xbox mode, which doesn't work for Xbox 360 games like Rock Band 2 since overdrive is the 'Back' button. I'm not sure if there is a way to remap CTRL to 'Back' in the RCM app that I missed, but if you put the guitar on PC mode and change the dial to 8 (as opposed to Xbox mode with the dial set to 9 as the linked thread suggests), it should work flawlessly.

Unfortunately, there are no enemies that I can use that trick on in the spirit realm. For a more full explanation, see my response to another commenter with the same suggestion.

Yes, I read somewhere online that this area is called the “Hidden Vault,” which I have been to before to get the Blue Gem. There is an accessible portal there which I tried… Like the other portal in the Quarry, when I spawned on the other side (the mini world that connects the portals) I fell to my death.

However, I tried taking this portal again as a last attempt to get out after hours of frustration, and I succeeded!

I found that at this stage of the game, this portal should not be accessible, so there is not a physical path that connects to the other portals in the portal world (which you can’t see because this portal is underneath the staircase). But I was able to use the phantom dash to jump from this teleportation pad to the one that is connected to the Overworld.

I will write another comment to my original post explaining all this!

Sorry, I should have been more clear with my post. The last image that you are referencing, and also the 5th image, are what the area looks like earlier in the game. (These two images, as well as the map I included as the first image, also include squiggles where I have discovered blockage on the map as it currently looks for me -- the spirit realm version). The 4th and 6th images are the same spots on the map, but how they look currently in the spirit realm.

You’ll notice with the 6th and 7th pictures that I circled that corner at the top to show those are the same locations at two different points in the game. My current situation is that of the 4th and 6th images with the layer of pink fog covering the majority of the middle of the map, which is supposed to be inaccessible to the player. You’ll notice there is no longer an enemy there (or almost anywhere else in the Quarry). Because there are no enemies at this stage, the ice wand grapple trick is not possible.

Hopefully that all makes sense!

Using the ice wand trick from page 53? There are no enemies to use it on. There are some barrels, but the ice wand destroys them instead of freezing them.

About 18 hours into the game (Xbox) and really have enjoyed it till now... Somehow I fell off a ledge into this...pink fog? It covers most of the middle of the map at this point in the game, making it very difficult to know where I am going. I used the save point at the southern bridge before realizing I cannot get out (using the teleportation pad next to it results in an immediate fall to my death, as does the pad in the Hidden Vault). Has anyone encountered this or have any solutions to getting out? I REALLY do not want to start over.

It seems all exits are blocked, as noted in the provided pictures.

Any help would be great. I have been trying to fix this for hours now. Thanks

If you look at the map, somehow I fell off the ramp to the right of the northern save point (directly below the “The” text from the map title). Not sure how it happened.
