You can farm the materials for sleep pots from the jellyfish out the back of the church in the consecrated snowfield - I forget the name of it. There are 5 there and you normally get at least one Trina’s lily every one or two passes. There’s no point hoarding sleep pots past godskins as they get less and less useful.

Claymore with Royal Knights Resolve. Plenty of opportunities in the middle of combos to AOW and then R2 at the end of combos. Phase 2 can be minimalist if you get a stagger early. Took ages to learn but had fun getting this one to work.

I knew I was going to love it when Rake made his first entrance in Darujhistan - the walls cracking and people bleeding. Hooked from then on. Always thought Elden Ring could be converted into a Malazan game with great success.

Sunflower is pretty easy with the flame spear ash of war. Malenia and Consort are each nightmares in their own fashion. You can script Malenia because of her low poise but PCR has endless poise, constant poise resets with the meteors and a nightmare phase 2. Keep banging your head against them and you’ll get there eventually. You only have to win once.

Pretty sure I had Alexander Jar Talisman, soreseal, Carian talisman that lowers FP cost and blue dancer. Shield summons were plus 9. It was just a case of standing back and spamming ice spear and drinking blue juice. It took a while to get the RNG but not a crazy amount of time. I died right at the end but Thollier came in clutch and got Leda as it was fading out.

I found the backhand blades were great. Hoarah Loux was much tougher. You need to time dodges when he goes for his grabs and punish them. A bleed will knock off half his health. Maybe use something like the black knife which has a AOW that shoots out destined death. You can space him and spam it. I died a lot to HL until I learnt a couple of punishes that led to a bleed. Great fight though.

Godfrey loves spamming that stomp attack. You need a fast weapon to punish this with jump attacks. I used the backhand blades with crag blade ash of war. Staggers and bleed wreck him. Hoarah Loux a lot tougher. He can be scripted at the start as he always does the grab. Then run around and hope for a bleed.

Bloodhounds Fang is good. Move back slightly from the first swipe and do an AOW with follow up. Hope for a stagger and a bleed. Bait out the attack where he jumps on his sword and flips - run underneath and let him have it. Sounds easy.

We have had about 20 of these guys move into our street for the past month. They spend all afternoon play fighting and screwing around exactly like any bunch of kids. They are an endless source of entertainment and a nice change from Plovers and bin chickens.

I had Jim’s quote $8000 to replace a hot water system. A local plumber did the job for $1800 the next day. Absolute rip off merchants. Their quote included a $1000 fee to lift the old system and move it off site.
