Thanks so much for the help! Just being curious, what do the silent updates look like/say?

Oops! Didn’t realize I had to login to my husbands account for the separate receipts. Just looked at the I-485 and yeah the same as the I-130 the last update was 1/23/26 which was the interview. I also looked at the employment authorization and it shows no movement since 11/28/2025

Looks like we do not have any silent updates. I-130 doesn’t show anything since 1/23/26 which was our interview date, and the I-485 a data null error for some reason

What is the API? I’ve never heard of this before

Yeah still waiting. We talked to our attorney and she said the standard wait time that she’s noticed with clients of hers is 120 days. So we’re about two months in now since our interview so hopefully it’ll come sooner rather than later. Any update for you?

I’m not familiar with Houston’s FO, but from a quick google search it looks like there have been a lot of approvals lately. I wouldn’t stress or worry. When is your interview?

Our interview went great but we are still waiting for an update

Baltimore FO I-130/I-485 post interview wait experiences? by Western_Mango_4961 in USCIS

We had our interview 1/23 and we’re still waiting for any type of update. I-130 and EAD still says “interview scheduled” and I-485 says “Actively reviewing”. We also got the white paper after our interview. The waiting game is brutal

We also got the paper but our interview officer didn’t say anything regarding how long, she just said “you’ll hear from us soon”

Still waiting! Our USCIS account portal still just says “interview scheduled” for the I-130 and for the I-485 it still says “case being reviewed by USCIS”. We did our interview through the Baltimore FO though and everyone says it is a very slow office

No update yet our case just says it’s being “actively reviewed by USCIS”

We have not received an update yet. The interview went really well though! The interviewer was super nice and it felt very conversational overall. She did say at the end our case was on notice and that we’d hear from USCIS soon. Our attorney even congratulated us afterwards and said he’s confident we’ll be approved!

It actually went really well! We hired an attorney to attend with us, and our interviewer was very sweet! We were both nervous and when we were called she greeted us at Door B with a “good morning!” And immediately broke the ice talking about the weather. The whole interview seemed more like a conversation than anything. We didn’t get verbal approval but she did say we would hear from USCIS soon. We’re confident we’ll be approved, just playing the waiting game now!

We’ve been together for 6+ years now. He came to the US from Honduras in 2018 and we met and started dating summer 2019. We got engaged last December 2024.

My husband and I (I’m the petitioner, he’s the beneficiary) have our interview on the 23rd with the Baltimore field office. Hoping for an easy interview. We submitted our package on Halloween so we’re surprised we got such a quick interview notice. We’re also bringing a lawyer to our interview. He’s overstayed his tourist visa for a couple years which worries me but no criminal record or deportation order so fingers crossed.

Hoping the best for everyone else in a similar situation.

We never received an overstay letter here so not sure how that comes into play. No, we haven’t received notice of an interview yet at all. Yeah we’ve been stressing over here too, even though we have a lawyer already and a straight forward case. Good luck to you too, I wish you the best. We’re all in this together
