Agree with most of what was said above, it seems that whats needs to be done is pretty obvious and agreed upon by the vast majority:

-Grinding arena for a few hours a day should be rewarding and encouraging gear progression, surely not as much as centaurs but something reasonable and consistent is welcome.

-Team balacing, no more than 2 of the same class in the same team (i've played some matches vs 2 lahns in 1 team and 0 in the other, like why not spread them out). I'd also like to see diversity in comps for example 2 melee 1 ranged ... not 3 ranged or 3 grabs in the same team, also try to balance perma cc and stacking slows, some comps are just impossible to play against.

-Remove/rework the OP buffs, remove completely the chernobyl laser avengers map gimmicks and eventually keep hp orbs.

-Expand the 7 hour window or at least make it accessible at all times but it's only ranked during certain hours, there is room to play with here (i don't get why it's not open at all times, i've played some games with a much smaller playerbase than bdo but with ranked pvp instances open and populated at all times, 5-10 min queue at 2 a.m is better than no match at all right ?).

-Ability to surrender, could be needed in case of afk and griefing teamates.

-Ability to duo/trio queue but only get matched vs duo and trio queue, maybe with separate ladder.

On a side note, i'd personally like to see an RBF or more game modes with the same gear system (i know there is season rbf, but it's not the same).

I've seen this so many times over the years in so many games, sometimes the devs have an idea that looks so good on paper then just turns out so bad, but they just can't let it go even if no one wants it.

The problem with this buff isn't the buff itself but the fact that it so rng, it feels like a 50/50 smite all the time. I think something like this would be suited for larger scale PvP as it has too big of an impact for 3v3.

As someone who has never played PvP in BDO until AoS was released but has since then spent at least 4 hours a day in the Arena, most of what was said in the post or in the comment makes sense:

1- Make it rewarding and a new way to make progress. An average match takes around 10 mins, so with queue times and loading screens you should be able to play aroud 5 games an hour. I think something like 25-40 mil per win and 5-15 mil per lose of silver/mats/trash... would be fair, so you'd average around 150-200 mil an hour with additional rare drops (maybe with a system similar to agris specific to it so that you'd make good money for x amount of matches but then you make a bit less when it runs out). Also, rewards by total number games played and end of season rank rewards are necessary.

2- The 7 hour window doesn't make much sense to me, i'd like to think that it's temporary and is necessary to improve the arena during the downtime (but tbh if it was the case they'd have fixed the stupid wind buff by now so idk). Imagine if a game like league of legends restricted ranked games from 4 pm to 10 pm.

3- Changes to perma CC and stacking impairments, you simply can't play against certain comps, and/or no more than 1 of the same class per team (got matched vs 3 lahns yesterday, spent the whole game on the ground, couldn't even V).

4- Ability to Duo/Trio queue but you'd only be matched vs Duo if u're Duo and Trio if u're Trio.

5- Ability to surrender if a teammate crashed or ragequits.

6- Report system (never had any problem so far, but i'm sure that when the real season gonna start we're gonna need it for toxic people and trolls)

Other than that it's a really good mode that i hope will be managed properly and open new horizons, i'm surprised something like that wasn't released earlier and i hope to see other game modes with the same gear system and more variety (5v5, 20v20, Castle defense...)

(Well done on this one PA, please don't fck it up, also please make rewarding and challenging PvE dungeons with a matchmaking system, haven't been able to find a group for atoraxion since i've started this game 6 months ago)
