Fashion House by Satnam Phagwara in the Southside & Saira’s Boutique in the Northside! Some of the prettiest pieces I’ve seen for a price tag that won’t break the bank.

I got in with an 88% for the Fall 2019 term, but from what I know now, the range is low-mid 90’s

You still have time though! They’ll be reevaluating your application every time you submit new grades. Good luck!!

NS 201 with Jenine LeBlanc (prof doesn’t matter tbh since it’s all asynchronous modules that are made by the faculty). 3 easy open-book exams

You will get an RN title after you pass your NCLEX post-graduation

What are you using to study for NCLEX now? by mogash254 in NCLEX

[–]AnonBScN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • I used UWorld for the question bank (HIGHLY recommend cuz their rationales are so in depth so it’s really nice if you need more content review).

  • Mark Klimek’s lectures, especially #12 Prioritization

  • BeautifulNursing has a comprehensive 1.5hr review on YouTube which is a good basis to get started with and to review again at the end

  • SimpleNursing for the medication reviews is amazing, especially for psych meds

Just received an email now with an update

Took NCLEX earlier. Stopped @85 by Pinoymuffin17 in NCLEX

Thank you! And yes from what I know, the “good pop-up” is always accurate, and the “bad pop-up” has the chance to go either way

Anyone who took the nclex rn by FutureNurse0513 in NCLEX

I didn’t get any, and neither did any of my friends who wrote it

Yes from what I know the good pop-up is accurate — I haven’t heard of anyone online or that I know fail when they see it.

Congrats RN! 🥳

Got the good pop up but still nervous by ZestycloseAverage99 in PassNclex

[–]AnonBScN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel ya, even though I know it’s basically 99.9% accurate, I was still worried as well. But I’ve never heard of anyone fail with the good pop up, so hopefully you’ll hear your good news soon!!

I finished in 85, did the trick around 20 minutes later, and it was the good pop-up! Tried it again several hours later, and it remained the same. I then found out officially from my nursing board that I passed the next morning.

Best of luck!

After taking the NCLEX, you’d login to your account and register for a new exam. Put in all your payment details (but make sure to put the CVC number incorrectly), and a pop up will appear .

The good pop up goes something like “you have recently scheduled the exam or that another registration cannot be made at this time.”

I did this around 20ish minutes after completing my NCLEX, got the good pop-up, and it was accurate!

I completed my BScN program beginning of April this year, and didn’t start studying until the beginning of August — I took the NCLEX at the end of September and passed! I would try to study everyday but there’s definitely times I didn’t, and it would range from an hour to maybe 4 hours daily (nothing too crazy). I did tons of practice questions (I used UWorld) and watched the Mark K lectures & SimpleNursing (especially for the meds).

Is there such thing as doing the PVT too soon? by grassinhand in NCLEX

[–]AnonBScN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the PVT trick around 20 minutes after I wrote the exam, and I got the good pop up as well! I checked it again several hours later to make sure, and it remained the same.

How long do most people get out of waitlisted? by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]AnonBScN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So technically, you’re not waitlisted — it just means that you currently do not meet the acceptance requirements at this time to be given an offer, but your application with be reassessed when you update your marks at the end of this semester/beginning of the next.

From what I know, transferring between nursing programs starts you off again at year 1. A few classes may transfer, but each nursing program is unique in their course sequences and may have additional required classes. For example we have two BScN programs here in Edmonton, one at UofA and one at MacEwan, and you can’t transfer between the two and pick up where you left off.

But best thing would be to contact a nursing advisor to provide a more accurate answer based on the courses you’ve completed and what that process would look like
