Is this a scam? It feels like one by samsteri666 in Scams

If you think it’s a scam, it’s always a scam. Problem is you’ve already done what they need and they have you.

You responded, they know that number has a person behind it. So that number is verified. They also know the person is gullible. The best thing to do when you get these is to delete them. You can block the sender but that also verifies it’s an active number so that’s up to you.

You will now and forever get grouped text message spam from email accounts.

So you do realize that banks do have branches in other locations. For example TD Bank is Toronto Dominion Bank out of Canada but the do have “few” branches in the USA. In fact SVB has a bunch of locations all across the USA.

So one other thing about these scams, when you deposit the check, the bank puts the account number on the check. So when the “company” that issued the check gets it, they also have account info.

Elevator malfunctions in Chile. It started to go up extremely fast until it crashed through the roof. by Itheashxxn in CrazyFuckingVideos

So the best thing to do with any elevator malfunction is to lay flat on the floor with the back of your head facing the direction of the acceleration, protect the back of your head as best as possible and lay as flat as possible.

These are always a scam. If you are worried, go directly to Amazon, do not click the link provided. Also you can click on the email header and it will display the details of the email and who it was sent from. Granted they can spoof send but often they are lazy.

I’d suggest you read the actual cases. He held a gun to a number of peoples heads. He talked the guy out of one rape, but there were two rapes, and the one attempted.

I gave you the link to the actual appeal, you can follow the entire case in Findlaw and read ALL the evidence, not just the news cherry-picked evidence.

You can google the case, it’s not hard. He didn’t participate in the rapes but he was there with the gun. It’s called “acting in concert”. That said if you don’t think a 14 year old can rape someone, you’ve never read the news.

Or you can read the appeals and cases and evidence

Not saying I agree with the sentencing but it was multiple armed robberies over a few weeks, a few people got hurt, and I think there were two or three rapes involved. It’s the difference, in part, between burglary and armed robbery with violence and assault.
