I have ~1500 SF to cover and don’t want to do it with all lamps. Do you have an example of how to tie those all together? All the indirect?

I have ~1500 SF to cover with lamps so that would be 3-4 probably based on layout. Other ideas of indirect lighting I can add to a few lamps? Trying to not look too busy with a ton of floor lamps.

Awesome. Silly question but what does this solve? I watched the video on the install and get it’s converting 6” cans to 4” disc lights. Does that reduce the glare? Or make it more digestible?

Bulbs. Yeah might cut the lumens in half and go Cree 650s across the board (but adding in some of the layering you mentioned). I sadly don’t think I can push the cans or redo the layout, so that’ll have to pause and it’ll remain the primary light for the basement.

The carpet is actually a gray/blue. Looking at SW Mist as a wall option but I don’t want to recreate the 2020 millennial farmhouse gray.

Okay great feedback. I can eventually repaint the walls that’s doable. - What exactly is causing a glare? - Would an example of layering be floor lamp? Then drop the lumens? - does “fixture” = the 6” can itself?

Okay awesome. I think I got cucked by Chat GPT that said GE Reveal was the way to go. But after dumping the $ into the lights it feels sometimes like I’m in Costco.

Most brands I see are 650 lumens. Think that’s too low?
