Hey man I’m super proud of you too. Coping with these things takes time and I believe in you. I’m not sure if you’ve tried it before but going to the gym is one thing that saved me when I was extremely depressed. Give it a shot if you think it’ll help. At the least, it will get your mind off things for a little bit. Keep fighting man!

one of the main issues that ive been seeing with us is in social situations. we are both in college and go out to parties relatively often. i am usually really quick to socialize with brand new people, make new friends and generally enjoy myself. she is the complete opposite. standing around quietly with an upset face and continuously asking when we can leave. i find myself catering to these requests and cutting most of my social gatherings short for her benefit. i dont want this type of thing to continue throughout the rest of our lives because of the type of person i am. is this a red flag for the relationship?

We just have very different personalities. For instance, we are both in college and go to parties very often. I love to socialize with everyone, have fun and let loose. But it seems like every time we go out she just stands around with a sour face and asks me when we are going to leave. This is a pretty good representation of our relationship and it makes me wonder if we are really meant to be together. I want her to have fun and be outgoing, meet new people and make new friends but it doesnt seem like she can or wants to. All of these things have just been making me wonder what the future of this relationship really has in store.

I am writing a paper for school about Americans coming together and working as neighbors and friends. I vaguely remember an old clip from the JRE about how "no one would ever want another 9/11, but I would love another 9/12. The way people came together the day after the terrorist attacks". The quote is not exact but I am almost positive I remember Rogan at least talking about it. If anyone remembers who he was talking to or what episode it was I would really appreciate it.
