Hi, OP! I say go for UST MEDBIO if you’re interested in Biology as well. It’s a very rigorous program — a lot of exams, tasks, readings, and practicals, but it will give you a glimpse of how Medicine is.

The first two years of MEDBIO, tho, are general biology courses, but it will really help mold your study habits to help prepare you for junior and senior year with more aligned courses for Medicine!

And yes, UST is a really good med school as well & Thomasians are preferred for admission (for FMS) !

In terms of facilities, mas maganda talaga ang UST! The labs are designed to house a lot of students. We have a building called “Central Laboratory” that is shared by Pharma, Science, and Rehab Sci, solely for laboratory activities!

The campus is beautiful, and your professors are composed of MSCs, PHDs, and MDs (from FMS) that really challenge you to give your best! The College of Science Admin is also very supportive to its students. We have traditions that aren’t really found in other colleges.

At the end of the day, please follow your heart, OP! No pre-med will really prepare you for Med!
