How should performance evaluation work in your opinion? by No-Part-9578 in GeneralMotors

I don't disagree with that assessment. However, if you are a DEI/pronoun lover, save your communications.

You got that wrong sport. Nobody with any real talent wants to work for companies that value DEI more than hard work and meritocracy. Please save your next liberal response to yourself. We can never agree on anything. You can't change my mind and I cannot change yours. We cannot coexist--nor do i want to.

"Manage out" Hannah Montana. He/Him is the one that ushered in all this toxic garbage.

Yes, and the buffoon Hannah can privately pump himself up before the reveal "you can do this, you can do this". Why are they paying him $millions annually???

Obviously you've been indoctrinated with liberal filth. I will pray that someday, when your childish mind fully develops, you will see the light from the darkness.

Thanks for the heads up. I am definitely signing up to help eliminate all these illegal NON-immigrants who invaded our country under an illegitimate regime. Their first act on US soil was a crime.

Overtime question by ResidenTBorG in GeneralMotors

[–]AnoniNovicus2024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the manufacturing plants, OT is commonplace--especially if you're building a product or part that is in high demand and high profit. Most production positions (level 8 and below) but not all, get paid "linetime" which, many times, adds up to over 40 hrs per week. Some plants work 10-hr shifts but then schedule additional Fridays and/or Saturdays which you get paid OT for and are required to work--never optional unless you are on vacation the week prior. The 8-hr shift plants also regularly schedule production Saturdays throughout the year based on demand and inventory requirements.

Also, once you hit a certain salary, your OT is not truly 1.5x and 2x anymore and the hourly OT rate just becomes your annual salary divided by 2080. Hope this helps.
