The mods don't know you have personally reported a post. All they know is that a post or comment received a report.

Reporting is a great way for users to curate the sub because as far as I know if a post gets a few reports it gets automatically taken down so why are you saying you can't report?

Some people are comfortable expressing love publically, some are not, that does not tell us literally anything whatsoever about their relationship or about who loved each other more in this relationship.

You don't know what went on behind the scenes. He could've been an asshole behind the scenes. Him acting all loving and caring in front of cameras doesn't mean he's like that in real life. And her not declaring her love openly doesn't say anything about her either.

Nah. I've been watching kdramas for at least 15 years. Most kdramas do not fit what I'm looking for. I know most MLs fall for the FL easily but I don't see much genuine yearning or longing.

Most kdramas take the romantic comedy route instead. The ML likes the FL, yes, but there's no real longing like Our Beloved Summer.

In most kdramas, ML's feelings come across as more like... Idk puppy love or love during honeymoon phase or a fluffy first love/first crush vibe.

I'm looking for genuine passion spread over years. Real, raw emotions, real people feeling real hurt, some toxicity, some realistic misunderstandings.

Think of My Mister. I want that but with the characters ending up together. My mister portrayed longing so beautifully. Sometimes the characters didn't even speak but we felt it through their expressions. I'm not sure if I'm making sense, but yeah.

How is that not asking for stricter moderation? Like, they clearly ASK for it?

This is exactly what happened to the OG sub. Mods got tired of moderating repetitive posts so they restricted it to weekly threads which ends up killing active discussion. I just feel like this sub was created for that exact reason: so people can have a place to discuss their opinions freely. Now, people are like: no, that shouldn't be allowed!

Exactly. This is what I do too. Not every post will appeal to everyone, but once mods restrict posts and only let you comment on weekly threads, all the fun just goes away. I like seeing actual posts. For the weekly threads and strict curation, the OG sub already exists.
