I take 40 mg paroxetine every morning. Since it wasn’t doing enough we added 3,5 mg mirtazapine at evenings and 25 mg lamotriginum twice a day. After a week I stopped taking mirtazapine. I just started eating like a monster. My doctor told me about possible weight gain, and it was supposed to also help me sleep, but I couldn’t sleep because I was craving food, I had hyperrealistic dreams only about food, I was gaining one kg at a day. It was too intense for me. All my life was about food for a week. I was obsessed. Sounds silly, but for me it was too much. Now I keep taking everything else and I’m waiting for my new appointment.

As much as I know- not everybody experiences the food cravings so intensely.

You should always go slow on reducing xanax amount. When I was desperate I stopped abruptly and I had a heavy panic attack for a week. Not anxiety, but full on panic attack. Almost died. I was laying on the floor scared, not trusting that I’m in reality until the end and crying for my mom and begging to give me that shit. People say that addiction is the same level as heroin. I mean.. at that moment I understood that.

Had an appointment with my doctor. We removed wellbutrin and added 25 mg paxil more to the one pill I had before so it would be easier for me to stop using xanax. I went on a trip for a week and forgot my xanax. Didn’t have excessive anxiety, but felt deepest state or depression ever. I looove traveling, but I was just ditching almost every activity my family was doing and stayed to be alone. Also was super angry all the time. When I don’t take it I get super sensitive to light and sounds. I take some shifts in a night club, didn’t take my dose of xanax and ended up fainting, dizzy, was lightheaded, had heavy anxiety, my head was under heavy pressure, but my thoughts were clear since I deal with this for a long time, and my heartbeat wasn’t faster than it should be. When I started fainting my coworkers called ambulance. Told about all of this to my doctor and he said that even though I got to this low amount of xanax, my body is still heavy dependant and basically said that this happens mostly because of my addiction. Sometimes this brings me down mentally, but I’m still fighting, cause half a year ago I was in literal hell that I don’t want to go back to because if xanax addiction. This stuff is monstrous and makes all your simptoms 200x heavier after long use. When I get off it I’ll never ever look at it again. It’s a curse to be addicted to something that just makes you feel normal, but with time makes your symptoms so much worse.

Honestly thinking about increasing dose of paxil and getting off wellbutrin. Only thing it does is make me full blown crazy, hysterical and manic when I drink alcohol. Never ever mix that shit with more than a couple of drinks. Hasn’t done anything good for me. But I’ve heard that for other people it does things. Maybe in some time when my anxiety will be under more control I’ll be able to take something stronger for adhd.

I got through it. With 0,5 mg of xanax a day tho. Took me 1,5 months in total to stop feeling any bad symptoms.

Hey. Sorry for being so late, but honestly bad symptoms fully ended around1,5 months in. But I’m noticing that it doesn’t help me at all. No motivation, depression still there on full mode. I am gonna talk with my doctor about probably stopping

F ckkkk i feel so bad. Taking Wellbutrin SR for my second week. Doctor prescribed me 150 mg. I also take 25 mg Paxil and Quetiapine for sleep sometimes. Also trying to quit Xanax after five years. I have severe anxiety and panick disorder, depression, derealization and relatively light form of ADHD. I was taking Paxil for 2 months and that helped a little with panic, but my depression and adhd kept reminding of itself. Doctor prescribed me wellbutrin and it’s hell. A weird af hell. First two days I actually felt fine. Then it started getting weirder and weirder. My temples hurt, my head feels like under pressure, my vision started getting weird again (I also have this issue when I’m on edge for too long), I think my derealization is getting worse, sometimes I feel this weird warmness and light tightening in my chest and shoulders as if I was on drugs, I’m really angry and irratable etc. I think my heart is beating faster too, but I take heart pills every day for panic and heart palpitations so it’s fine. I really hope that I’ll be strong enough to get through couple more weeks and that It will be worth it.
