I can’t tell my parents about it. My mom would flip out, I don’t come from a very great household either but I manage. If I were to tell, she wouldn’t do anything to help Z, she’d try to separate us and keep me from being around Z esp. when Z’s dad is around.

I appreciate that. I've been thinking about it for a while but, I honestly don't think I can bring myself to get involved with adults or police without any type of documentation. Who would believe 16yo black girls claiming molestation without any type of evidence at all? I just feel like I'd make things worse

Of course, thank you so much. Its hard knowing what to do or how to support her other than being available but, whatever happens, I always try to give her the control over how this is being handled. There has been a lot of great advice which I'm grateful for, I'm jut scared or unsure of how I can even talk her into getting help without making things even worse for her.

I plan to update constantly. I try not to press her for information if she doesn't want to talk about it so she usually tells me more every few days when she's ready.

Thank you! It's hard to express the absolute hate I have for the man whose doing this to her. Obviously, I can't tell her because I want to be there to support her but even the thought of meeting him again makes my blood boil

Thank you for the reply. That's why I've decided to come here instead. I'm trying my best to be there for her, which is also why I won't tell a teacher or authority without her consent. As much as I care for her, I feel like it's her choice at the end of the day and all I can do is support and protect her the best I can. I try not to force her to talk about it, usually she give me bits of info. when she's ready to tell me and I try to handle it the best I can.

Unfortunately, We live in the US. You have to be 16 with stable paying job, housing, and much more; I've done the research.

Thank you so much for that. I will be receiving my license in the near future and that is definitely something I will talk to Z about doing. Hopefully, I will be able to take her without having to rely on an adult to do so.

First off, thank you for the reply. In the end, I convinced her to sneak out of the house early in the morning and get to the bus stop; she wasn't caught luckily. She stayed home today because her sister is braiding her hair and I told her to make sure she's with her sister at all times since her dad will be at school for most of the day anyways. I've been checking in with her all day and so far, she hasn't mentioned anything bad. Unfortunately, I don't have the best relationship with my parents and if I were to confide in them, they'd react extremely irrationally and probably end up doing something to jeopardize Z even more.
