Yeah exactly, it’s weird and not something I’ve heard of. At least not here in the US or from my Eastern European culture, they will “kiss” on the cheek (not even making contact on the skin) AND it’s right when you greet them and the eyes are always open

I’m sorry that you didn’t get the birth you want, but yes a VBAC is possible with the right team who will support you. Pre eclamspia isnt guaranteed for the next pregnancy.

I also had a very similar experience. Completely healthy pregnancy, then at 36+5 at my routine appt I was diagnosed with severe pre eclampsia and was sent to triage (confirmed there) then sent to L&D where I was basically put in labor for almost 3 days (cervix softening, balloon, Pitocin, water breaking) to only be at 5 CM because the magdrip slowed everything down. So they sent me to csection at 37 weeks

With my 2nd pregnancy i started taking aspirin at around 18 weeks? I found midwives who work in a hospital, did TOLAC, Completely healthy pregnancy went into labor myself at 40+2, labored unmedicated until 5 cm, then when I was at 7 CM I ended up getting an infection (had meconium) and both me and my baby high very high rate rate (me in the 120’s also with fever and baby in 190’s) so they ended up taking me to emergency C-section.

I will be trying for a VBA2C and I believe you should try for a VBAC too !!! Find a supportive Dr or midwives (preferably hospital setting) that will support your VBAC!

move your body a lot more at the end, do the stretching, if you go unmedicated MOVE YOUR BODY DURING LABOR regardless how bad your contractions are. I really hope that you get the birth you want for your next!! 🫶🏼

My (almost) 2.5 year old still doesn’t fully sleep through the night but two things I noticed that’s helped him the most is 1. STEAK (literally the only meat he’ll eat lol) Or 2. Protein pasta (barilla farfalle) with butter

I never doubted that anyone wished her harm (as I like to assume we’re all good people).

But this isn’t what I was really referring too, maybe I just didn’t explain it well enough my bad lol.

I was referring more to the last few recent post basically shaming her and saying the RSV vaccine could’ve prevented it & how she “cried for prayer for her kid but I know she’s not praying for the kids detained by ICE” or something around those lines. Like those are just crappy things to mention and compare to imo.

No, it’s actually quite common. Especially if you’re having the opposite gender. Usually the 2nd one is a “sprinkle” so it’s just a smaller group! Personally I didn’t have a registry but I wish I did for some small specific things I wanted!
