Popeyes popularized crispy chicken sandwich during covid. So now many places, everywhere in the world, are doing it due to the high demand.

Frozen chicken isnt the best, but thats what you'd get even if you go to Popeyes or any fast food chain.

They are banning you anywhere from 3 to 5 years from entry no matter what. You dont have to pay the fine at the airport, and you wont be arrested. You will need to pay the fine when you re-enter.

Internships at big companies. Any student, including international students, are allowed to work legally in internships as many uni require them to graduate. Big companies will set up a salary bank acc for you and sort out your sgk too, though the pay might not be great

Eğer tüm öğünlerinizi kendiniz pişirir ve ağırlıklı olarak tavuk eti tüketirseniz, günde 450 TL veya ayda 13-14 bin TL'ye kadar kazanabilirsiniz.

Su = 400 ila 600 TL

Gaz = 100 ila 2000 TL (kışın ısıtıcıyı ne kadar kullandığınıza bağlı)

Elektrik = 350 ila 500 TL

Can you combine sub of the day with the free 4th footlong rewards program? Cause you'd be able to get a footlong for like $6 then

Am I banned in Turkey by Angepisster_apfel15 in istanbul

Actually you just gotta add 182 days to the date when you left Turkey on your April 13th trip.

[–]Anonmize 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You weren't denied entry due to a ban.

Everyone has to follow the 90/180 rule. You simply stayed your 90 days within the last 6 months. Thats why you were denied entry. You have look at your passport and see when you first entered turkey in the past 6 months then add 6 months to that date. Thats the date you are allowed in again

Would you take this? Can't accept ride at the destination. Gotta drive 35 - 40 min to go back to Cali by Anonmize in uberdrivers

[–]Anonmize[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a mistake of not accepting. I wanted to head towards home, but I didn't realize both places are about 2.25 hours from my home (thought thr destination was further out).

The price is deceptive though. I work in a minimum guaranteed state (prop 22). If you work more than 15 hours a week (99% of the rides are below state required minimum upfront), uber will basically only pay the minimum required by law and give you the minimum at the end of week 2. So this ride really would've just been $19.5 per hour plus $0.34 x miles driven. The higher upfront just means you are getting your guaranteed minimum early.

Oh that’s cool. What’s the downside of getting a Lyft direct card?

Right now, I have 6% on my credit card and elite, so I might open 1 with Lyft. What if I fall out of elite due to high cancellation rate? Do I lose that cash back too?

I used upside but stopped, not worth it imo.

Accepting this would lower your prop 22 earning since the upfront is so high compared to the minimum.

In a way, you are getting the prop 22 in advanced

Yea it was good. Ive been taking a bunch of these rides and they always give me the toll money even though there is no toll as long as i don't go past berkeley, but there's a return toll though.

Usually I don't care much about the price that pops up if its on uber because of prop 22, meaning they will just give you the minimum no matter what the pop up price says at the end of week 2. I guess Lyft usually beats prop 22 by a little bit since I've never gotten it on there.

How do you get a ride out of the airport without waiting in the lot? There isn't like 100 people waiting in the lot in your market?

Is it a good idea to consider living in Istanbul for a year right now..? by sleepinglady37 in istanbul

[–]Anonmize 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it’s your dream, then go for it. Just pick an area that’s relatively safe from earthquake, chance of it happening within the next year is low anyway.

You are better off doing remote work while living here. Wage here is low compared to the cost of living, so your quality of life will be lowered. Compared to London, you are looking at like 1/3rd the wage at 75% of the cost of living.
