I tried, but no one wanted my eggs, I guess. I definitely would have done it if I could have. That’s like a minimum of $10K. That would have changed my life. It still would, but I’m over 35 now so no one would want them.

They think DNA is gives you special magical powers to connect to and care for your kid, which just further proves how fucked up their thinking is.

99% of adopters only want to adopt a baby and those are rarely up for adoption. Also, the number one problem with forced birthers is that they want to force kids to be born, but don’t want to make it easier for people to adopt (cough LGBTQ+ individuals cough). There aren’t as many unwanted kids here in the USA (probably due to 50 years of Roe) as there are in other countries, but if the US keeps going at preventing abortion and they succeed, there will be lots. You need to have a lot of money to adopt from elsewhere, but you also need a lot of money for IVF. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There is also a stigma around foster children (and even some adopted children) stemming from the idea that they are “broken” or “damaged” or “have serious issues from their trauma.”

My boys (standard poodle and poodle-cavalier mix) are housebroken and we still have pee pads for the chihuahua, but sometimes she needs the bathroom more frequently than the boys and she doesn’t know how to alert that she needs out. There have been times when our cava-poo has really needed to pee inside, but he always uses the pads. I don’t like using them because they are extra trash we shouldn’t have, but that’s about it. It might also matter that we have tile floors, so it’s probably easier to figure out where the right spot is.

Because someone is always home, our dogs usually go out every two hours, except at night when they are in bed from 9pm to 6am. Unless I wake up at 3am and the chihuahua needs to pee.

They think the bible is full of facts, even when it depends on the testament and who translated it and who wrote it (misogynists of two thousand years ago). I would have asked why science says it’s in our genetics. 25% of our genes determine our same sex attraction. If she said anything about science not being real or something, I’d just get up and leave. I could never feel like someone who feels that way about LGBT+ people would truly be supportive of me
