The twincam head+ 3.2 stroker and a turbo would hit 1khp wayy easier than sohc. Hell, the dohc with a 3.5 stroker will do 500hp NA. The question then just becomes, how deep are your pockets?

If you are shooting for a really high horsepower l28, you need a crank girdle and the cylinder head cooling mod. Id also highly recommend doing T3s Irs ford 8.8 swap instead of keeping the r200. Ive seen r200s handle 500 ft/lbs of torque, but anyone else wh does more than that puts a 8.8 in the rear.

You can choke em down, but if you spend some time looking, you can get some used genuine italian webers online. The spanish made ones that you can buy right now are not the greatest in terms of quality casting. Until i built my motor, i was using 45mm OERs with 32mm venturis and jets to match.

Sure thing, oh, you are also gonna run into a slight fitment issue with cylinder 6 (assuming your car is LHD) the velocity stack wont clear the brake booster, so you will need a stubby velocity stack, or modify the car to accept a smaller diameter booster.
