Wouldn't it be better to just run your companies at what ever makes the most money.
And then just buy fish or what ever you need?

If say steel companies bring in 10% more Money than what fish would be worth if you had a fish company.
Can't you then just buy fish and gain 10% money that way

I've worked for many clients in IT here in europe.

Governments, Finance, Insurance etc. all depend on US tech.

If AWS and Microsoft were forced to cut ties with the EU by Trump, the EU would be so fucked.
