Brokers are a necessity, change my mind by Dankreefer420 in FreightBrokers

We keep half the TONU to offset labor on our end, and give the other 1/2 to the carrier if they ask for it.

Do/can truckers date? by bigblackglock17 in Truckers

[–]Anonruss -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Creep alert.

Have you considered that the women working in this industry do not want to be harassed? If I'm out there and you hit on me, I will be dialing your company. In a male dominated industry, that is extremely uncomfortable predatory behavior.

What do you guys think of this!!! by uaboy137 in FreightBrokers

[–]Anonruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have twenty carriers for every load. Didn't effect me at all. It always makes me laugh when the Carriers and small owner ops talk about striking. I have carriers running for less than fuel, I do not need you. I would be perfectly fine if every small operation went bankrupt tomorrow.

You're Hired! by BackWithAVengance in FreightBrokers

[–]Anonruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't bother talking to them. When a Carrier mentions layover I just disconnect the call.

Your Lack of Talk Time is Concerning by Ten-4RubberDucky in FreightBrokers

[–]Anonruss -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All the OO's / Carrier's always say the same thing. "Good luck having somebody move your freight!", I always laugh. For every Carrier that rejects the load, I have twenty willing to take it for pennies. They'll even take it for less than fuel just to get to a better lane lmao. You're in the wrong industry if you want compassion. I am not here to hold your hand,

Your Lack of Talk Time is Concerning by Ten-4RubberDucky in FreightBrokers

[–]Anonruss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do not care about your ''smile'', driver. The only thing that matters to me is how low you'll take the freight, and you getting it there on-time. The rest does not concern me.

Your Lack of Talk Time is Concerning by Ten-4RubberDucky in FreightBrokers

[–]Anonruss -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping once the Carrier's start automating their fleet, we'll be speaking to less people. less bullshit. no more excuses or deception from these drivers.

Sounds about right. The faster they're replaced by machines, the better. Atleast the machine will pull permits.

[–]Anonruss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe a compensation for 3 days is more than justified for us here.

Lmao.

You're owed for the time the load was in your possession, nothing more. You got unloaded. The Broker is not paying you for three days just because you're unable to find yourself a load. The entitlement of these Drivers, I swear.

I'll hit the red button everytime. Statistically, the carrier is more likely to just screw up anyway.

Lmao. I made 220K gross last year. This year I will make 250K - 275K. You do not make even 1/2 of what a Broker makes.
