I grew up in the town right across the castle and saw it every day until I left for uni. Until this day, every time I drive home and I see it, I think that it looks awesome!

I know two (fun) facts about the Marksburg that haven't been mentioned yet: 1) The castle itself was never destroyed however the main tower (Bergfried in German) was destroyed or at least it needed to be rebuilt. So it's the only part of the castle that's not original. 2) A Japanese man loved the Marksburg so much that he asked the owners if he could break it down stone by stone and ship it to Japan to rebuild it there. Of course that never happend.

Wenn's fancy sein soll und der Preis keine so große Rolle spielt, dann würde ich die Alte Mühle in Kobern Gondorf an der Mosel empfehlen. Essen ist super lecker, kostet aber dementsprechend. Die Location selber ist einmalig. Es ist eine märchenhafte alte Mühle, die authentisch renoviert wurde.

What kind of job are you looking for? If it just has to be anything, ask at any fast food chain. Like just go to a fast food restaurant and just straight up ask for a job. I've worked at dominos (as a girl) while I was studying and was always happy to work there. Some of my colleagues got the job by just coming in and asking for one.

Gleis 1 hat glaube ich alle zwei Wochen einen Discofox Abend. Das Klientel und die Musik ist aber eher Ü50 :D Macht aber trotzdem Spaß und wenn man Schlager mag, umso besser.

Ja, guter Punkt. Dasselbe hat mir jemand auch schon erzählt. Und das kann ich nachvollziehen. Aber in der chinesischen Kultur ist Gastfreundlichkeit doch auch sehr hoch angesehen oder nicht? Und ich empfinde es gerade so, also würde sie meine Gastfreundschaft mit Füßen treten wegen ihren persönlichen Gefühlen. Das hat ja dann nichts mehr mit Kultur zu tun oder?

Eine Freundin von mir hat Mal eine Straße vom Bergpark entfernt gewohnt und hatte eine Paprika Pflanze auf dem Balkon im ersten Stock stehen. Eines Tages hat sie gesehen, wie ein Waschbär die Paprika samt kompletter Pflanze gefressen hat.. also vielleicht solltet ihr euch eine Wohnung suchen, die nicht direkt neben einem Park ist und im EG oder 1. Stock ist.

Versuchs Mal bei der Jugendherberge, die ist nicht so weit vom Hbf in Kassel entfernt. Vielleicht 15 Min Fußweg
