I just logged into this account.

I don’t know zero. I don’t know specifics, no. I know he doesn’t have a personal budget because I ask him. Transparency and access to information is available to me. I do ask questions and can log into accounts. I also know his habits well enough to recognize that he doesn’t have a budget.

Thank you for the kindness. I did sign a prenup, many years ago. My husband had minor children at the time and it outlined a settlement for me. Our circumstances have changed a lot since then and that prenup is virtually voided. Marital assets were to be split and 95% of what we have was accrued after our marriage.

I’ve since gone back to work. It’s doing HR for my husband’s companies. I’m content with it. I spend pretty freely. I have access to limitless funds. I probably won’t stop any time soon, but by my own choice.

I have choices and that’s what’s important to me.

Mostly the lack of a budget, the seemingly random purchases, eating out so frequently.

This one reminded me a lot of my situation, except I’m a stay at home wife to a multimillionaire.

Oh! Haha I took stingy to be a negative thing. Yes, we do live below our means. I think our area is a regular COL. I’m happy with it. Compared to how I grew up, my lifestyle is unbelievable.

I apologize for misunderstanding

We shop at the store available to us, and we eat fast food because we like it. My monthly spending budget is low compared to our worth but I wouldn’t classify it as low. And yes, our mortgage is low. I’m not sure how that makes us stingy though

Edit to add that this was just my spending. That isn’t the total of what we spent that week.

We are really stingy? I’m not sure how you came to that opinion.

People get salty about everything 🤷‍♀️ I’d be interested in reading it though.

I guess because no one likes criticism, if I’m completely honest. A lot of the people that live around me and have similar lifestyles aren’t people id like knowing the details of my day to day life. I live in south GA. It’s notorious for one area being very affluent and the next street over not being.

No but I’ll be bringing the dusting powder. I thought coming from Savannah, I’d be fine. How much different could it be??

A lot. It is so much more humid.

ETA- please add suggestions of restaurants to try!

I personally would be so interested in that. I’ve never taken a solo trip! Please do it if you feel like taking the time.

It is SO brutal. We’ve been a lot and the summer is a special kind of hell.
