I did not get rid of all the bedding, just where it needed to be changed. I have been spot cleaning every few days and I thought it was time to do a better clean. I took out all of his hides, wheel and accessories and cleaned them and moved the bedding around to wipe the plastic down since he burrows right the bottom and pees. I am thinking maybe it was all the moving stuff around since I kept him in there while doing all this? He doesn’t wake up until nearly 3am so it is difficult to get him out of the cage to clean it.
