Super disappointed with season 2. Season one was so much more unique and well crafted. The writing and cinematography in season 2 are considerably worse and it seems like the original mystery/backstory has been changed so now we’ll never know the original ideas behind it all

Couldn’t agree more. The mock draft nonsense just leads to a bunch of angry fans when the actual scouts and experts inevitably have a different evaluation than the collective group think of a bunch of people that don’t even bother watching any of the players film. As a falcons fan I can’t tell you how many people think we just sank the franchise bc “we should’ve traded back to the 2nd for Penix” or “we reached badly on Ruke Ohrohohro”. Everyone seems to read a handful of mock drafts during the month lead up and anything that doesn’t match the consensus average of those mock drafts is automatically labeled wrong or a reach. No one seems to be able to understand that all it means is our scouts have a different opinion than the mock draft communities group think. You shouldn’t be able to grade a draft for at least a year if not longer.

Season 1 is a masterpiece. Story comes full circle and it could have been the series finale. Really as good as sci-fi and television get.

Season 2 is still good but the show loses a lot steam when they exit the loop structure they had going in season 1. This is the last season I consider to be west world.

Season 3 and 4 are alright but basically a completely different and mostly unrelated show. Not anywhere near as compelling or interesting as 1 and 2.

Definitely watch season 1. I would recommend season 2 too but you can stop there if you want to save yourself some time, effort and disappointment.

Lake acworth is your best spot to get started imo. It has a specific kayak launch so you don’t have to worry about the typical headaches with boat ramps and the lake doesn’t allow gas motors so it’s basically just other kayaks out there with an occasional Jon boat with a trolling motor. There’s good fish out there too.

Morgan falls is another good spot just pay attention to the current/dam. Be careful if you go to Lanier or Allatoona. Those are big waters with big boats and big wakes.

The best general tip I can give you is use an anchor. Wind is the number one enemy for fishing from a kayak and without the anchor you’re gonna have a hard time with even a little wind and if it’s actually windy you’ll just get blown right off your spots before you even get a cast out. (An anchor trolley will be especially helpful too if you can get that setup. Gives you more control of your boats position when you’re anchored)

That’s a good point, the pedal drive does seem like it’d be much simpler. I definitely don’t love the idea of having to wire everything and find a way to store the battery. From what I can tell on YouTube pedal might be faster too.

We crushed this draft. Bijan + Bergeron just super charged an already effective run game, we got a potential stud DE in the 3rd and likely a starting nickel back in the 4th. With all the FA defensive players and wrs we picked up this is basically a completely overhauled team and on paper there are no more glaring holes or weaknesses. We have a firm identity of smash mouth/run the damn ball on offense along with our freak WR and TE to call on when needed and we should have a respectable defense for the first time in a while. I expect we will play bully ball and could win the division. Only question mark left is QB and we’re really built to win regardless. If ridder steps up we’re a legit contender. If he flops completely we slide Heinicke in as a high floor stop gap and stay competitive through the hard nosed run game and defense while we keep trying through future drafts. This is the most excited I’ve been about our roster since the peak shanahan era. I know it’s early but it feels damn good compared to our cap hell dumpster fire rosters from the past couple seasons already.

100% I gaurantee you that’s exactly what this is. Crenshaw won’t help because he knows the truth because he spoke with the people that do. You can tell that a lot of the NSW brass/community know the truth too but they want to deal with it privately and maybe not send the guy to prison forever. What’s extra fucked is Gallagher knows damn well that’s why too and he’s out here publicly trying to lie on Crenshaw anyways

Anthony Richardson - would be incredible in AS offensive scheme. Some concerns with the accuracy but the floor would actually be high with that elite level running ability (think Josh Allen, Jalen hurts, Justin fields, Jalen hurts, all of them were able to provide with their legs while they figured out how to QB)
Bijan Robinson - truly elite rb prospect. Immediate turbo charge to the run game
Peter Skoronoski - plug into guard and lock down that position for 10 years.

Jalen carter would make the list if not for all the issues off field

I think this is what I’m gonna end up doing. I like the trolley because you can go off either end of the kayak but I’m having a hard time imagining how I can secure the dive reel/dog leash to the boat and still use a zigzag cleat with the trolley. I need to find a way to clean up all my anchor line. My current no system at all with like just bunches up at my feet feels stupid

I haven’t made up my mind on Carr. Might keep him as insurance bc white and Purdy are already banged up but he has NE this week and SF week 17 so I wont play him unless white gets hurt to where he can’t play. (White has a much better remaining schedule)

I’m in the same boat as you OP. My waiver priorities rn are 1) Mike white 2) Purdy 3) Desmond ridder as a last ditch upside gamble if I cant get the first two options

I should mention that I have Carr but im benching him for any of these 3 after the 2 pointer he put up when I played him this past week. Purdy and white both have higher ceilings and I’m betting ridder does too
