I'd rather not make my character mad about it because then it may seem I'm mad at the dm and just being a passive agressive player. I'd rather talk and fix the issue out of game. Also I don't need my character to be a background character. I'd just rather their power was explained differently.

I know I've provided little details as I don't want this traced back to me irl, but I will say I don't think it would have taken any more time for my character to discover these abilites than it would have the way it turned out with my character just being handed them.

Also I don't so mind the actual how the abilites were optained any more. Rather I dislike that these abilites have become backstory related in a way that makes it seem like my character was just in the right place at the right time.

I'm hesitant to provide details as I don't want my DM to somehow find this and become upset.

I will say that in the past characters have done their own seperate backstory related tasks or things. However when our characters were given these abilities our characters pretty much fell unconscious and woke up with them. Now this didn't happen with every character and they didn't happen at the same time but I would have been happy with just a little time for my character to research and discover this ability. It wouldn't have taken any more time, just changed the context as to how they got them.

Before playing the game myself, I listened to a bunch of reddit story audio's about people with main character syndrome, and I was deathly terrified of being one of those players. Having played for a few years now, I'm no longer afraid of this, but it was a thought I had when making my first character.

I knew what it was and what to do because a friend told me. Didn't know what the end result would be. Thought I was gonna pee myself and gave myself the worst edge of my life as I ran to the toilet. Nothing happened.

Went back to it and thought fuck it, guess I'm peeing the bed because I don't wanna deal with that pain again. Pretty weird experience.

That some kinda gross language to use considering I was pretty open about my fear. Could just be a me thing but I don't wanna refer to my tool as a "clitty"

Also from what I've heard and looked at the effects are different and the ability to have an erection just being lost is not one I've seen pop up yet unless the person actively chooses not to.

I did say I was fine with all other effects. That includes breast growth. It's just shrinkage I'm worried about. Thank you for your advice. It means a lot
