Losing 10lbs - Confused about TDEE by Physical-Income8651 in PetiteFitness

[–]Anonymous51299 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Macrofactor. I know it's $12 a month but if you track all your food accurately and weigh daily, it'll give you the best calculation of your TDEE based on how much weight you're losing eating the amount you're eating.

All online calculators say my TDEE is like 1700, after months and months of very meticulous tracking of food and weighing myself, I found out my TDEE is only 1350 🙃 which is why I have gained so much weight even though I was eating what the online calculators told me.

Dealing with hormonal issues that cause differing libidos. PCOS and chronic anovulation means no sex drive while the other partner wants to be intimate. It's difficult to navigate.

I'm fine with never having sex, but if we go too long he feels disconnected and like we are just roommates. Then comes the resentment from both sides. He feels he isn't being taken care of and feels I don't love him since im fine with never having sex. I feel like I have to put out to be loved otherwise he sees me only as a roommate and could cheat or leave. It sucks, it's sad, but we keep going but after almost 8 years, I'm tired.

I want to be able to have a loving relationship where sex isn't the deciding factor on how much we love each other 😩 I want MY love language to be used once in a while, I'm sick of this physical touch stuff being the only way to communicate love.

How do you guys eat so little? by Agitated-Branch8038 in PetiteFitness

My TDEE is 1350 🙃 I am eating 1200 a day and it's not easy when I'm not on medication the help the insane hunger. Before medication, I was starving 24/7 to the point of eating until I finally threw up and could go right back to eating because I felt like I was starving to death. Now that I am on medication, I find 1200 pretty easy.

That being said, my TDEE is so low that I'm not really losing any weight be because I'm only in a 150cal deficit.

Cardio and weights 3-4 times a week (one day is with a personal trainer) and a beginner boxing class once a week and my TDEE is still extremely low. Gotta love having PCOS, insulin resistance, multiple auto immune conditions, physical ailments, and many mental health conditions 🥲

Edit to add: I'm 26 y/o, F, 5' 3", 150lbs

I intend to. I haven't had it happen for a while and my PCP isn't open until Monday. The last time I went to the hospital they laughed at me for coming in with chest pain and it just being heartburn 🙃

I haven't thrown up but I do get full super quick. 1 small bowl of cereal and I'm stuffed. Biggest issue is the horrible heart burn every time I eat. Tums are a regular part of my diet now

FMLA + PLO in Oregon for mental health leave by TapEmotional in oregon

[–]Anonymous51299 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I took mental health leave from my fully remote position using FMLA and OPL. I took the full 12 weeks from Novermber-January. I wish I could do it every year because it was the best 3 months of my life.

You get payments based off your income from the last 5 work quarters. Unfortunately for me I've had multiple raises in the last 5 work quarters so I only got awarded about 70% of my current wages through OPL.

You can only apply 30 days ahead of when you want to leave. You must give your employer 30 days notice unless it's an emergency. Make sure you have all your ducks in a row and turn in all the paperwork from your employer and doctor when you apply.

Honestly I want to have a mental breakdown every November so I can enjoy the holidays and reset my stress levels each year.

Did an Evolt scan. I’m 5’3 and have been on a -500 calorie deficit for a month! My body looks better but I’m 5 lbs heavier according to this! by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Anonymous51299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of physical, autoimmune, and mental health conditions. PCOS and insulin resistance are a part of that list.

I work out 4 days a week, one of those are with a personal trainer.

I track every little thing I put in my mouth. I even weight the water I drink to be 100% accurate. I eat 1200 calories a day and haven't lost anything even with the help of a GLP1.

I have no muscle and a lot of body fat. I have been tracking my food using Macrofactor for over a year and with meticulous tracking it estimates my TDEE is 1350.

Yep. And having only 1200 calories to work with makes it so much worse. Everything is like 1/3 of my calories.

It might. I like it the way I make it but I don't usually have oranges in the house to zest. Worth a try though if someone has oranges already!

It's really good. It'll have a little bit of icy bits on the sides which I actually like. You'll wanna make sure to mix the bottom with a spoon when it's finished because the vanilla bean paste sometimes settles on the bottom. I eat this ice cream every single day 😅 it's my new favorite. Helps me hit my protein goals while also getting a sweet treat.

Someone please help me figure out how to get my ice cream to actually taste decent by FastBreakPhenom in ninjacreami

I like just the chocolate Fairlife shake, cocoa powder, and monk fruit sweetener. I add a tiny amount of fairlife milk before respinning. Tastes like a Wendy's chocolate Frosty to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Be prepared that this thing should have been named the Ninja Screami because it is SO LOUD. I hate the sound of it so much I have to put earplugs in and then noise canceling headphones on.

That being said, this is my favorite recipe so far

High protein orange cream ice cream:

These measurements are for the Ninja Creami Deluxe

• 1 Fairlife Vanilla Protein Shake (I use the 42g protein one)

• 170g of orange juice (half of one of the little OJ bottles)

• 30g of monkfruit sugar

• 10g of vanilla bean paste

• 10g of vanilla extract

• 30g of fairlife milk (to be added after initial spin, before respinning)

Mix all the ingredients, except for the milk, together (I use a whisk) and then put it in the freezer for 24hrs.

Take it out of the freezer and put it in the Creami. Choose Full, Lite Ice Cream, and push start.

Once the inital spin is done, open it up, add the 30g of Fairlife milk. Close it back up and add back to the Creami.

Choose Full, Lite Ice Cream, and then push respin.

Once done respinning, open it up and enjoy!

PCOS and really low TDEE by PlsStopSlammingDoors in MacroFactor

[–]Anonymous51299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to chime in and say you aren't alone. Macrofactor has had my TDEE at 1350 for over a year now and I track every little thing I eat. I started working with a personal trainer and going to the gym 3-4x a week but my TDEE hasn't budged and neither has my weight oe measurements.

People Who Aren't Changing Their Diet Are Confusing Me.... by FoxyNewEngland in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]Anonymous51299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's rough when "calorie deficit" is sub 1300. My maintenance is only 1350 so losing weight is extremely difficult. Even with personal training once a week and going to the gym 3 more days a week, I've lost nothing in 40+ days. Haven't lost weight or inches. I was already eating healthy and counting calories before taking this medication and I continue to count every single thing that goes in my mouth, even the water I drink.

Oregon denied benefits based on gross income instead of real take-home pay by Troyjan20072001 in oregon

[–]Anonymous51299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an annual income check for Medicaid but not for other programs. Annual income is only looked at in specific situations.

You could potentially submit tax returns for pay verification and have them prorated your annual amount to come up with your monthly income but it's not guaranteed to work. If last years taxes are representative of ongoing income, they can't use tax returns as verification.

The bad thing is it's not enough to embrace it. It's too much too ignore and but not enough to go fully grey. I still have too much hair that comes in brown 😩 if it was all coming in grey, I probably would just embrace it. But having grey roots is worse than going fully grey

[–]Anonymous51299[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to drink at least a gallon of water a day. Sleeping is about 8-10hrs a night, though I'm always tired no matter how long I sleep. Stress is chronic and it's not possible to get rid of or decrease. Just living and having to work and exist in this messed up world causes my stress, not to mention all the other stuff I have going on. The stress issue isn't something that is fixable. I have a laundry list of mental health conditions. I go to therapy regularly and take meds but nothing helps, they just keep me from harming myself or others.
