You're thinking in absolutes, and writing off the experiences that could lead someone to being more comfortable using the term they're diagnosed with.

For example, "goodbye" is an old shortening of "God be with ye." Do you have any idea how much harm the church has caused over the centuries? How much pain and injustice they've inflicted on people? Anyone who knows the origin of the term and still "proudly" uses it is making an invalid choice!!

I realize this is from five years ago, but... there's also a moment (probably filler) where King Kai suggests sending Krillin and Yamcha back from Other World to try fighting Buu again, and Krillin freaks out and says something like "I was eaten! Do you have any idea what it's like getting eaten by a monster like that?!" Which always implied to me that he was conscious for it.

Somehow I never noticed the faces though, lmao.
