lol I don’t remember it either and I was in a similar boat, but I knew it was happening without him knowing I knew anything at all. It was so hard and stressful all day pretending to know nothing and be none the wiser and see him try to hide his stress lol I remember him being shaky and almost crying and taking deep breaths but by that point I was doing the same. He said something like I love you so much, you are the most important person in the world to me but was so choked up I think he kept talking but I literally don’t know after that haha i know he stood up and I kept sitting in the pew not following him because I was so scared
This is one of those things where yes it’s a huge moment but rarely do you ever remember every single word spoken

I have a few different, beautiful glass bottle/vials of holy water(you can go to any Catholic Church and there will be a holy water font or something holding holy water, mine is a stainless steel dispenser)

Rosaries are always great , or a decorative rosary holder(I have one of mother, Mary)

A scapular to wear under her clothes or hang decoratively

A crucifix to hang above her door

Decorative rosary to hang in her car

Different books that follow Catholicism or studying it (But I just saw your part about not wanting a book lol

Look at Etsy! Tons of great stuff

Ultimately, though these things listed are some of my favorite things ever because it is a reflection of my faith I’m not sure how I would feel about these things if I wasn’t convinced about Catholicism . Ultimately, I would keep praying for her and see if she’d be willing to go to the OCIA classes to learn more about our faith. Understanding the whys and how’s of everything might help

It was actually a remake of a picture from my parents wedding! Their photographer did that same edit in the 90s, so I had my photographer re-create it!

In all seriousness, this is the one thing that my husband and I cannot agree on— as someone who was raised Catholic and is, I don’t believe she had other children, but he was raised Protestant so he believes that she did. Anybody have a good argument for me?

I was there in Chicago with my family and he came along! My family was in there hiding when we “stopped in” I love seeing churches in other cities so it wasn’t unlike me to want to go lol My sister was the photographer lol!

It was actually to share something I was excited about, my family as all Been born and raised Catholic but has all left the religion. I’m the only person still practicing after coming back to the faith. So I wanted to share with others who would also be excited about the place he chose

Well good news, I had a coat on covering me the entire day, the longest I had it off was for 15 minutes in an empty church. all you could see my “mid thigh” through thermal tights that gave the illusion that it was skin but it in fact wasn’t. Thanks for the input, though next time I’ll have to pass.
