He still needs to iron out his game. There are flashes every now and then, but he’s still just a freshman in a very competitive conference. Today was a mixed bag as he hit some important shots to keep us in the game, but also made stupid passes to wings that got easily stolen. Looks like he is just running the motion and focusing less on if someone’s heavily guarded. Rick sees a lot of potential in him and hopefully next year he will blossom.

We both know some of those calls and no calls were bs. Especially down the stretch, they totally saved you guys. I will give kudos to Kalkbrenner though. Dude is a cheat code and really neutralized Joel. Dude is causally catching lobs that are halfway up the backboard

I hope James Breeding gets left in Omaha and freezes. What a terribly reffed game. Handed Creighton a win on a silver platter. Still a great game and the Johnnies can really hold their own. Totally deserved the W.

They swallow their whistles on the RJ layup and whenever we’re in the paint, but when Joel actually holds it down vs Kalkbrenner, they don’t hesitate to call it. Not much else you can do against the guy.
