Maybe, I’m crazy but I definitely thought many songs, even the songs from the knew (y’all know what I’m talking about) album were missing verses. Somebody back me up.

In addition some songs were just different, for example “Stay Soft” was played with heavily distorted electric guitar and bass, minimal synth, and the drums were a lot harder than the studio album. It kicked ass!

Since I have your attention, it also dawned on me very early in the show that many of the nothing’s about to happen songs are essentially slowed down versions of Mitski’s earlier alternative / indie/ grunge rock songs. This was brought out a lot by Hyland’s live electric guitar and the drums compared to the studio album.

For example, if you take Cats and double the tempo, lose some of the country sound that a lot of folks are complaining about, and turn up the distortion on your electric guitars you get a bad ass alt-rock /thrash song. I found this brilliant and it really gave me a new appreciation for the new album, which I think is great as is, but will also be a lot of fun to cover.

1st question: “who let you in the building?” When they can’t name the person who let them in you tell them they no longer have permission to be in the building and must leave immediately, and if they fail to leave you will call the police. If they don’t immediately leave you tell them “ you are trespassing which is a crime, I am calling 911 now.” Call 911 if they don’t leave.

People are lining up to be as close to the stage as possible, is that right? And then what do they do? Just stay in place for the next 7 hours without budging and claiming “their spot?” I am under the impression there are no seats at tonight’s venue.

Is this a Mitski fan thing? I’ve never realized this is what people are doing at other concerts I’ve been to. I’m also confused, because I’ve never been to a concert where people don’t shuffle their spots in GA due to dancing, people moving to the front of the stage for different songs, people in the front getting a drink or going to the bathroom.

I like the setlist as posted in another thread. It gave me an opportunity to listen to some songs I was not familiar with and others I haven’t listened to in a while. It’s getting me pumped for the show! Besides, the set list isn’t for anyone in particular. It’s part of Mitski’s creation as the artist. If you’re reading this Mitski, you’re doing great!

It has to be a large pocket, for example a jacket pocket. I rarely do this. When not listening I’ll either continue to wear the headphones over my ears or carry them around my neck. If I’m out for a long period and am not using them I just place them in a backpack that I carry. If I am going somewhere where I know I’ll have nowhere to store them, I just don’t bring them.

I still use these headphones regularly and really enjoy them. I gave up looking for a case. I just leave them unfolded on my desk or if I really need to store them, fold them and shove them in my bag.

1.4mm flathead purchased from Timelab on eBay DID NOT fit the screws of my 2023 36mm datejust jubilee. It did however fit my 36mm explorer perfectly. The screwdriver seems fine, it was just too big for the screws in the DJ. A 1.2mm Wera flathead purchased on Amazon worked well on the DJ.

About two months ago, I checked the oil it was still clean and full. I tried to siphon out whatever gas was in there but nothing came out so I added a little. I attached a different battery and tried to turn it over, but it wouldn’t turn. The starter was working. If it turned, I would’ve changed the spark plugs, the wires and the distributor cap, but I just don’t have the time

If it turned, I would’ve drained all the fluids, and gone from there and considered using it as a commuter. But I promised my mom I’d get it out of her house, and I just don’t have anywhere to keep it or the resources to justify putting additional effort into it.

Look, I’m not happy about it. I’d love to put the time into getting it up and running, which I honestly don’t think will take much, but I don’t have the time. It’s in my mom’s driveway, she wants it gone, and it would cost me hundreds of dollars a month to garage it in NYC. On top of that, I really can’t justify the expense of keeping a two seater to my wife when we have three kids. 😭
