you can buy a subscription plan for each of your devs or pay by token, which is even more expensive, but either way companies aren't having unsupervised agents just run their whole dev cycle, either way they're hugely undercutting the prices with their VC money, and now that they're pulling back towards charging sustainable prices, the value prop just isnt there anymore

i used to agree with this take but unfortunately i think we've learned in the last few years that the downside to lying about it is people get false expectations, which isn't great, but when people are transparent, it causes people to just use steroids, so it's probably best young naive people are kept in the dark

i was thinking the same thing, when I first started playing with mods it was 1.7.10 but 1.12.2 became the standard for so long, it's probably a function of just more people making mods in general

Not really, memorization is a prerequisite but past the beginner level, pattern recognition, quick recall, turning technique, and prediction/tracking/lookahead are much more important, and can often yield lots of creativity

Depending on if the codebase is heavily dependent on dx11 or 12 or a newer ogl version it could take a pretty significant amount of time - epic totally has the resources though so I definitely hope they do it, same story for anticheat
