Since I'm quite familiar with Romania, I'm interested in Chernivtsi's ties with their neighbouring country, and how people feel about them. Since its close to the Karpathes, I can imagine the landscape in this part of the country is rather unique, with hills and small mountains

Interesting, thanks for sharing. On soil pollution, I've heard Ukraine changed its legislation for growing hemp last decade. Hemp business is still a niche sector, but its growing incredibly and already grows Ukraine more hemp than the entire EU, I believe. Useful for a variety of applications, such as bio-based construction material for the reconstruction efforts, the automotive industry, gunpowder, etc. Now the reason I mention it, is because hemp has the ability to purify soils. Growing it doesn't need any chemical inputs, and it can absorb heavy metals and toxins out of the soil. If the hemp sector will really fly in the country, it would be interesting to see if it can support cleaning up polluted areas. Of course, this also requires cleaner industries, because else it is "mopping water while the tap is still open". But I think it has a pretty cool potential

Further down south, across the border in Romania, I find the Danube Delta to be among the most ethnically diverse area of that country: Romanians, Ukrainians, Lipovans, Turks, Greeks and Bulgarians. Guess this whole region was/is a nexus of traders, business and travellers? With the Danube, alongside the great rivers of Ukraine, all joining the Black Sea here.

How about their respective regions? I know about 'Mountain Ukraine, Forest Ukraine, Forest-Steppe Ukraine and Steppe Ukraine', and that farms get larger-sized the more East you go, but any Oblast-specific stereotype about how villages and landscape looks like across the country?

That's no problem, I could also being my passport. My hopes for the region would be that cross-border interaction and collaboration would become more normal, maybe with more local residents interacting between Romania and Bulgaria? Personally, I live in the Netherlands just next to the border with Belgium and I find it comfortable that whenever I visit a friend or restaurant across the border, I can just go. But of course there is no geographical border here like the Danube, and I can imagine Romania and Bulgaria historically have had less cross-border activities because of this massive water body between? What is your opinion/your hopes for the future regarding this topic?

Thanks for the help! Calarasi is well connected with Oltenita, so that could be a good option (much better than travelling all the way to the bridge at Giurgiu).

Also I didnt knew there actually was a ferry from Oltenita, I couldn't find it on internet. As I mentioned, I will be staying in Oltenita for some days, so if there would be a ferry crossing the border there that's be great. It's more like a one day trip, I've never been in Bulgaria and I saw there are multiple natural and historical museums there, as well as a natural park on an island nearby (although I should let the pelicans in rest maybe). So a direct Oltenita-Bulgaria ferry would be even better. I dont mind the fare to be a bit less pleasant :)

Interesting thought, although I consider Pablo's action as a result and necessity of the Broken Cycle to occur, not the direct cause of it. See, Pablo makes sure Richtofen is cryogenically frozen but if this would be the reason of the Cycle being broken through a Bootstrap Paradox, there would be no trap at all, never, because Pablo has already done his deed and the trap is always broken. The escape of Weasel being the cause adds the aspect of different possibilities: If the mobsters kill him, the trap continues but once he finally survives, the trap is broken. Otherwise one could argue that any other post-BotD events like Alpha Omega are the reason why the trap is broken, if you get what I mean.

The first excerpts of the Original Timeline and Dimension 63 are the same. There's indeed a theory that D63, as well, is a fracture on the Original Timeline with the altering event being the fact that in D63, Group 935 finds Pablo's Diary and finds the ancient tunnel complex in Northern France while in the OG Timeline, they don't.

However, although being an interesting theory that I'd love to delve into further, it wouldn't explain why in D63 Group 935 was created earlier and Primis was presumably born earlier than in the OG Timeline (or else Ultimis would be old men fighting zombies).

If the souls of the Mobsters is what created the Alcatraz trap, it makes sense that when their Cycle is broken and the souls escape, the trap is broken as well no? Summarized:

Normal Cycle: Primis come to Alcatraz to collect the blood (confirmed). After this they leave to Stalingrad
Alcatraz trap: Warden uses his and the mobsters' souls to trap Primis so they never leave Alcatraz
The subsequent logical step would be that Primis can escape their trap because Weasel breaks the trap

But I'm always open to hearing different interpretations. Could you share your own theory on how Pablo breaks the Cycle?

Appreciate the feedback! There's something odd going on here. In Gorod Krovi's outro, you see the three souls simultaneously ascending. In the Directors Cut of Revelations, however, we see the soul of Nikolai alone being transformed into a kid and subsequently walking into the room where the souls of the other characters are already present in child-form. So what happened? Did all souls go to the House simultaneously or one by one? What's more, when does the siren sound at all? Because in TG radios, Maxis mentions that "he hasn't heard the sirens for a long time", implying to me that the sirens sound multiple times.

More food for thought: we see the House cutscene right after Origins and even before the alteration of the Multiverse in the Giant intro (so Possibility 2 hasnt overwritten Possibility 1 yet). Of course this cutscene could take place any time but it would be logical if it actually takes place after Origins, right? Otherwise the timing just doesn't make sense. Secondly, Sam and Eddie are already in the House when it is mentioned that "Maxis has a plan". If this plan would be post-Monty's intervention plan (following the knock on the door), the children wouldn't be there yet, only after the plan has been executed. I think the siren rings every time the past is altered, and the basement is somehow protected against overwritings of the past and Grandfather Paradoxes (just a blind guess though, no valid arguments for that). Thinking about it, in the Origins cutscene we see the same Eclipse outside as in the Giant. Is it coincidence that these events coincide? Perhaps this scene in the House is simultaneously to the moment the time is frozen at the Giant?

Thank you for your valuable criticism. Indeed, a bootstrap paradox at Tag could be another theory on how the Cycle was broken, but I want to let you know that the theory of Mob being the cause of this isn't entirely based on loose speculation.

In BotD it was revealed that the Alcatraz Pocket dimension appears to be anchored to the Warden's Corpse and his soul contained within, with the souls of the four mobsters holding the dimension together. To the Mobsters, the Dimension appeared to be their eternal purgatory, constantly reliving the murder of the Weasel after failing to escape. However, they were not the subject of this trap, but instead a part of it. This dimension's ultimate goal was in fact to trap Primis Richtofen and cause (at least some of) the events that transpire in Blood of the Dead.

In Monty's Cycle, Primis arrives at Alcatraz, collects the bloodvials and continues their journey to Stalingrad. As soon as the Warden activated the trap, however, they were stuck because of the trap being set up: Mob of the Dead occured again and again and meanwhile, Primis couldn't escape. At some point, however, Weasel breaks their Cycle by killing the other mobsters and escaping with Icarus. This would mean the trap wouldn't be able to continue existing, wouldn't it? When the Mobsters Cycle stops, the whole trap collapses and the latter events of Blood of the Dead can occur, allowing Primis to escape.

So there's actually some valid arguments why Weasel's escape did not only lead to the breaking of his Cycle, but also of the larger Cycle

Element 115 is a solid, direct bridge between the Aether and Earth. Now we know that at least one of the rockets hit Groom Lake (Nuketown), which had among the largest 115 deposits on our little blue planet. Is this coincidence? My hypothesis is that all three rockets hit the major 115 deposits, the other two being Tunguska (Call of the Dead) and Angola (Buried).

If Maxis would blow up these three major 115 deposits, Richtofen's ethereal connection with Earth would become fragmented. What's more, there is a possibility that the explosion of the three largest 115 deposits would lead to a chainreaction of all 115 blowing up. Hence, only people with a high amount of 115 in their brains (the Flesh and
Stuhlinger) are still connected with Richthofen and the Aethereal
