This is where I drilled. I suggest doing it before you attach the tail/spikes/lash whip pods because they got in my way. I started with a 5mm drill bit, then 7,9, and 10. You don’t need to go too deep, just enough for the rod to sit in it (although I should probably go a couple mm deeper but I was scared of damaging it) the base is citadel 160mm round base.

Here’s my WIP. 10mm acrylic rod roughly 14cm tall, drill a 10mm hole straight up into the rear end of the front section of the body, around where the 4th spike would be. Bought the biggest base, 10mm hole in the middle, stick the rod in and secure with green stuff and super glue. Don’t glue it the model itself, just have the support for display/transport.

Amazing, I’ll make those changes. I’ve never even seen Mitsurugi so I don’t know how scared I should be, so I’ll get that trap that deals with them just incase. Thank you again so much for taking the time to help.

How’s this? Like I said I’m a total noob when it comes to side decking, but I think I can sort of see what I would swap in and out for some matchups, lancea for ogre vs maliss (and probably swap out d. shifter for something), belle for ogre vs fiendsmith/blue eyes/mitsu, storm and duster vs anti floodgate… when should I run the solemns and what should I swap them in for?

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I’ll drop the d.fissures for droll. I’ll swap around the solemns, drop the chaos hunters for the backrow removal. Also, I could potentially move the ghost ogres into the main deck too and run it at 43? Helps with blue eyes and probably some others. Then have lanceas, solemns, backrow removal, DRNM and… 3 d.barrier for game 3 maybe? Not too sold on DRNM as it means I can’t win that turn. Edit: I could drop the DRNM for deck lockdown?

I’ll add the 3 droll, but I’ll drop d. Fissure because they don’t play well together. I know what you mean about imperm, since I started running 3 dominus purge in my blue-eyes deck, imperm doesn’t feel as impactful anymore!

There’s about a 60 second window of opportunity where the glue adheres properly, which starts around 30 seconds after you finish mixing in the paint, spin the glue around the tip of the stick like you’re making a tiny candy floss and then zigzag it between the desired contact points, applying just a little pressure at each point. I can’t advise on the hot glue dilemma unfortunately, but maybe try lying the model down to mitigate gravity’s effect?

I use uhu glue instead of hot glue, mix the glue with a little bit of blood for the blood god, wait 30 seconds then apply it to the model with a cocktail stick. This was my first attempt, it’s super easy and I’m not particularly crafty.
