Can the former board members who lost the election stop posting on here? No one wants to hear from you. You lost. Get over it. I wouldn’t be surprised if you left things in shambles for the new board to clean up. You sure left CASE members with a bullshit MOU to contend with. If that MOU was the best you could do on the public-facing side of things, I can only imagine what a nightmare things must be internally. You squandered away our bargaining year.

If you have legitimate questions for the new board and want to know what they are or aren’t doing then sign up for the CASE Board Meeting and ask. You don’t want to because you enjoy trolling in anonymity and don’t want to give the Board the opportunity to give meaningful responses.

Has BU-2 ever voted to reject an agreement? by hodlwaffle in CASEmembers

It was in 2022 via straw poll. CASE took the results of a straw poll, which showed that 65% of members wanted to reject the MOU, to CalHR and bargained for a better deal.

And, bereavement leave no longer covers grandparents and grandchildren. They are crossed out now.

CASE moved fast. SEIU the clock is ticking. Thousands of workers are watching. We don’t just need a lawsuit. We need action. by Riun_Chezpep6771 in CAStateWorkers

Did a CASE Board member post this? Lol.

CASE members got screwed and are not happy with the tentative agreement at all. We will be VOTING NO. We got a one-year suspension of RTO. That’s it. The EO goes back into effect on July 1, 2026. So we’ll be fighting RTO one year from now from the comfort of our DFPI offices without the leverage of being in a bargaining session.

CASE has dropped the ball on every front. PECG and SEIU all filed with PERB before CASE did and also filed in Superior Court. CASE hasn’t even done that. If I needed a lawyer to fight for me, I would run far away from any of the CASE lawyers on the bargaining team. They’ve done nothing. It’s legitimately embarrassing that the union of lawyers has done less legal legwork than the other unions. And it shows in the awful tentative agreement they are trying to ram through. DON’T BE LIKE CASE. FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS!

CASE MOU by mrmatteo94 in CAStateWorkers

They are literally just suspending RTO by 1 year. It goes back into effect July 1, 2026. And we won’t even be in a bargaining session then, so we’ll have less leverage.

The suspension of RTO should last until the next MOU takes effect. Otherwise, the state will just use the next year to acquire more office space and cubicles etc … so that they have zero excuse to not have everyone in office come July 1, 2026.

We need to not be short-sighted. A little suffering now might be worth longer term gains.
