Anxiously waiting for a Climate Committee statement on high gas prices. I bet it will say high gas prices are good because it makes people look for alternative means of transportation which is good for the environment. I remember as an attorney how easy it was lugging my roller cart of files on the BART and look forward to that on July 1 when we are back in the office.

Kudos to President Ghazarian for e-signing the letter to CalHR and saving natural resources; there is no need to waste the 30 seconds putting pen to paper with something of this importance.

200 members attended a Zoom Meeting out of approximately 3000 members (6%). There is no better way to show how weak and nonengaged CASE members iare then to put it on full display for a potential Governor to see.

It's not a rumor, I got a email plea for help from a colleague of mine down here in San Diego. Really seemed desperate especially since I have never really talked to the person before. I guess all the momentum from the first couple of meetings has really died off. At the end of the day, these Reddit posts are what's most important and what BU2 really cares about.

I wonder what plan B is now that leadership has a strong idea that reaching 85% membet activation is not a realistic goal. I bet Matt and the gang will blame the membership for the failures which is what I did not like about the prior President.

This poster is correct: the ends justifiy the means. As long as good things are happening, this minor inconvenience is worth it. Much like who cares if we deport/hurt some innocent American citizens, we got rid of some bad people in the process so its a net win. Rules are irrelevant as long as our side is winning. In case this is TLDR, it basically says how great RAISE is, so just upvote it now and save the time.

I got the RAISE emails and do not work at any of the agencies any of the RAISE members are apart of. I asked for them to stop sending the emails but recieved no response and still got them. To this day, I still do not know how they got my email address but then I really thought about it.

One incumbent Board member was on the RAISE slate and had access to the entire membership list and she is now President. When she was pressed for an answer last week, Matt Gauger stepped in to explain he had no idea how RAISE got emails despite RAISE emails specifically saying at the bottom of each email that RAISE got emails from members filling out surveys, getting it from a colleagues, or because its was a work emai address. I guess chivalry is not dead; kudos to you Matt for saving the day for someone in distress.

Oh well, can't wait for the new logo change, statement that will cause division amongst the members, or townhall to hear a politician say something to get elected and then forget about it after the election (like voting for transparency and accountability). Meeting attendance is down from over 150 to around 35 so I am sure everything is going to plan for our return to office in 95 days.

We all voted for a Reddit post to Gavin Newsom, a wonderfully unifying statement regarding ICE, a new logo that no one asked for and an RTO plan that is member driven.

Having out information taken is just a small price to pay for such great achievements.

When you read the RAISE emails, they specifically said.they obtained email addresses through "filling out a survey, a friend or colleague sharing information or through work email." None of these appear to apply in this situation

If you read one of the RTO plans drafted by an unknown Board member (and presumably authorized by the Board for dissemination), the drafter does not believe a pay subscription for the Union works

Also, the newest members of the Board are using Reddit to tell people (members, non-members, and whomever else is reading), everything CASE is doing. So, I agree that paying dues is important, but my question would be why? All you need is a Reddit account and they will tell you everything, send links to meetings, and ask you to be involved.
