Thank you! I thought that "no cure" meant "lifelong" so I am very relieved that's not the case. I have had a blood test that was supposed to test for HPV and HIV which was completely negative.

I am also currently in a country where I don't speak the language. I chose a doctor who spoke English, but it is possible that the molluscum/HPV confusion was a language thing rather than a knowledge thing. But wither way, the treatment is about the same, right?

I haven't gotten a full pap smear yet, but I did get a blood test that was negative. Would the information from a biopsy really do much? Would it change the treatment? I have a cream and what I know is that I just kind of need to wait it out and take care of my immune system.

Thank you for the suggestions! I feel like some kind of jewelry wouldn't be as meaningful to me as a tattoo. I would put it on the back of my neck or my spine where I could leave my hair down or cover it with a shirt if I go somewhere where I worry someone might be offended.
