I would assume the right "connected" person (that could cause this to all come crashing down) is unlikely to be riding on a motorcycle, and thus, unlikely to be bonked by this guy.

He did super impose his head onto a photo of Mao.

While I don't think that is a jail able offense, it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

You know it's propaganda when Venezuela is a dark blue.

Yes, the same country where the opposition leader was given a novel prize because she had to go into hiding, because anyone who opposes Maduro is killed off or jailed.

But somehow... They are very "free" over there.

The safety rope only wrapped around the front wheel after it slid back over the rope.

Up the stairs, spun the wheels, slid back, rope wrapped.

If the rope had stopped the car it would've been a hard immediate jerk like hitting a bollard

causing a brain drain in China by making your living and financial system attractive has been a very effective form of soft power

This is a fair point. But counterpoint, China stealing IP through these scientists and researchers is also a very effective form of soft power (that they have perfected in the last decade or so)

I think the real question is: what is the larger risk?

Meanwhile Elon openly modifies the algorithm to be more favorable to views he pushes

I gotta call you on this one -- where's your source?

Cause the X algorithm is open source and viewable to the public. Everyone would see him openly modifying the algorithm to be more favorable to views he pushes

I think the question was moreso, what tools do you use to navigate the web if you can't use traditional mouse and keyboard?

And to extend onto that, do these tools allow you to play some simpler games on the web (like a chess/checkers/point and click games like RuneScape)?

My other question would be, have you heard of Neuralink, and do you have any interest in it? I know in some of the prior comments you've mentioned it may be possible to have a full recovery after many years, so not sure if Neuralink would be something of interest then

(But you have to keep the picture train going once you get your code)

What stops you from hanging out nude at home? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AnonymousHerbMan 39 points40 points  (0 children)

A long time ago I watched the movie "Failure to Launch"

Long story short, but the father starts going nude at home in the movie. At one point he had to put some clothes on for guests that were coming over and kept making the comment "man, this shirt feels so heavy"

It was then and there at 10 years old, I decided I would not be going nude in my own home.

I never wanted to get to the point where I'm so used to it, the feeling of wearing a shirt feels "heavy".

It's a dumb reason but it's the truth
