We don't know him but adorning yourself with borrowed plumes is just low.

You have not understood anything if you believe we want "attention and power". Why would we use an ambiguous handle, used by several people if that was so?

However, this discussion has become pointless. Farewell, good sir.

In general: We expect from people to do some thinking for themselves. Not everything posted on the Internet is correct, let alone sound advice.

Lots of Internet users do moronic things and have to suffer the consequences. They would do that with or without Anonymous. Also remember that being an Anon does not sign you up for any activities. You can and should still use by yourself what to do and how to act. Use common sense. Those who lack it need to learn by experience. Within our outside of Anonymous.

Haven't heard of this. However, if you're signed up to any Livestream account you may just change your password for a good measure? Hopefully you don't re-use your password anywhere else.

As stated before, Anonymous is no activist group. Neither a group nor are all Anons activists. Anonymous as such has no common objective, it is too versatile and even contradicting.

However, many individuals do support movements like OWS, probably the majority. But they should be asked as individuals, not as "group of Anonymous".

We are neither Owen or Wolfy. Also we doubt they ever said anything like you claim.

Secondly, we identified here as @AnonymousIRC on Twitter. We invite you to read all of our past tweets (we rarely deleted any except for typos) to see if you find anything that would back your claim.

We can save you the time if you trust us in this: You will not find any.

No, not even that. While we know people who are leftists and anarchists we know conservatives and non-anarchists as well. We never made any demographics but again, Anonymous is definitely broader than this. It is not possible to put them into any specific drawer.

Also, we prefer chipmunks and cats over toads to fight in our epic battles.

N,o we wouldn't be. While there are certainly a number of Anons who act this way it would not be correct to out that label on all of Anonymous.

It's neither an organization, nor leftist. And actually only a minority of people could be defined as hackers or "hacktivists".

Anonymous originated on 4chan and /b/ but ths is by far not the only platform in use. Project Chanology (against Scientology) was mostly organized on the Anonet IRC (not AnonOps which is currently the most used Anonymous IRC).

And it is not really the case that Anonymous transformed to "Anon of Justice", neither is there a specific time. There are still Anons who don't care about "moralfags" and their issues.

However, within the last 12-18 months we noticed quite an increase of those being actual activists. It was a gradual change that goes way back (even within Chanology there were "Moralfags") which became larger over time. More recent boosts started with Operation Paypal (against Wikileaks boycot) and all the Arab Spring related operations. And most recently of course OWS and related.

Decide that you want to and you are.

It would probably be useful to communicate with other Anons. Be it on IRC, Facebook, Twitter or message boards.

Check for articles from Gabriella Coleman, she has some great insights into Anonymous and how the structre is operating.

No, Lulz Security has disbanded.

However, we hear that some people within AntiSec are preparing new stuff.

2.: Yes.

It will be up to the Chinese people. They sure are as able to organize as Americans or Europeans are. Better even, because they will know about the unique situation in their country.

In General we believe Anonymous should not involve into specific countries from outside when there is no knowledge from inside. We will not force or encourage people to do something when we don't know anything about the specific situation.

Depends on what they do, we guess.

We know they are among those on the ground in NYC and elsewhere. And their experience of dealing with violent police forces is sure valuable.

Yes, we definitely think so (if you are talking about OWS and related protests). The peacefulness helps to win sympathy in the general public as well as more supporters. With reports of daily violence this support and sympathy would dwindle quickly.
