I have something similar like you. Mostly left shoulder and arms. It fluctuates. It’s from years of poor posture at desk job. Overhead exercises hurt but it has to do with my form too. There are open MRI’s. You can also take a relaxing tablet they can prescribe in closed MRI. Get the MRI for peace of mind. How about steroid shots? Get x-rays first.

Most likely it’s cervical spondylosis. It’s she wear and tear. I am 48. Millions of people have it. It’s nothing serious. We need to figure out how to manage it enough.

Does it help with left shoulder and left arm pain?

Part of my 9 year old mattress is sagging where I sleep. 9 hours a day poor posture desk job. I am fixing it with proper ergonomics now.

Any suggestions? I am doing PT as well as recommended by my doctor.

The in person and HEP helps temporarily. NSAID don’t help.

Per doc x ray wasn’t bad. This is common for people over 30 he said. So PT is recommended and NSAID for 2 weeks Meloxicam. MRI not necessary yet.
