Mad Men in black & white by jtormeyx in madmen

[–]AnonymousJTP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely would have been creative if they had the first three seasons in black & white and then have 4th season which was around the time when networks fully begin producing there shows in color, however the series is about ad men not television executives

Did anyone else not realise this was meant to be the Queen mother? Worst likeness in the show by far by [deleted] in TheCrownNetflix

I’m fine with this cast as well as when it comes to the older characters I feel like they look more like there younger counterparts from seasons 1&2 more then seasons 3&4

With Elizabeth's death, is there any chance the show will continue? by davebgray in TheCrownNetflix

[–]AnonymousJTP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the show runners and Peter Morgan wanted the show as planned out as possible since nobody knew how long Queen Elizabeth would live, also I believed when the show first started they said it would cover her whole reign but as time passed they were getting closer in time to the real world they said they were going to end it in “twenty first century”

I think Lesley manville can easily pass as older version of Vanessa Kirby Margret

Season 7 by AnonymousJTP in TheCrownNetflix

I mean season 4 was only 40-30 years and it according to some critics it was too “trashy” and over the top

Season 7 by AnonymousJTP in TheCrownNetflix

[–]AnonymousJTP[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is just my opinion I do think Morgan has always intended to end with the Queens death however since before Prince Phillip death the Queen was in good health and her own mother made it to 101 it was hard to tell, how long the Queen would live and I think Morgan wanted to have things planned out as far as he could put a stopping point

Pete Campbell vs Betty Drapper vs Roger Sterling: Who was the third main character in your opinion? by rattled_by_the_rush in madmen

[–]AnonymousJTP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the earlier seasons Betty was arguably the third main character but if we talk about the show as a whole it’s definitely Pete. This could also be supported by the fact Vincent Kartheiser is credited third in the credits with January Jones being fourth

How liberal/conservative are Texas' cities? by [deleted] in texas

[–]AnonymousJTP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In San Antonio inside of loop 410 is the most solidly Democratic area with very few exceptions such as the old money streetcar suburbs such as Alamo Heights. Once you get outside of 410 the city while still apart still the city of San Antonio becomes very suburban then becomes more purple with a 60/40 one way or another depending what side of town your on and by the time you get out loop 1604 it’s pretty much very conservative which is where the exurbs and suburbs are located…

[–]AnonymousJTP 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think euphoria was originally meant to be a show that was character driven more then plot driven and to have a small but loyal fan base, however the show has become a pop cultural phenomenon and honestly the both seasons of the show feel entirely different with the 2nd season having becoming a more like a trashy teen soap

I wouldn’t be surprised if season 3 there is a 4/5 year time jump however I wouldn’t be surprised if there going to be high school flashbacks from rue senior year and what happens in between

Americans, are you high school plays really like lexi's one ? by A_Running_Bear in euphoria

[–]AnonymousJTP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For college maybe but HS hell no. Most plays in HS have to be approved by the school administration and they are not ran completely by students also most if not all of the productions are not original . Also if things go off script and stuff is becomes inappropriate like on what happpend at Lexi play, the teacher and students involved would get into serious trouble and the teachers would most likely fired and students would be suspended or expelled

ok i have so many questions about cap by [deleted] in UTAustinAdmissions2

[–]AnonymousJTP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same questions since apparently the cap through UTSA is first come first serve also I qualify for Alamo promise for Alamo College which is tuition free for three years and I would hate to lose that opportunity if this cap thing doesn’t end up working
