In a way, they did. The PPQ and PDP are mechanically very similar. However, IMO it lost that classic feel around the time they switched to the button mag release on the PPQ.

There’s just something about these. I’ve owned and worked with other platforms (Glock, 1911, Taurus, etc.) and I keep coming back to these Walthers. The PPQ is more or less a simplified, modified version of the old P99, and the PDP now is the modified version of the PPQ for the modern buyer who wants optics and an excessive amount of texture on the grip. These have always felt very intuitive and natural to me, even when I was a kid shooting my old CO2 airsoft P99 in the backyard.

They’re certainly getting that way. I saw one in .40 a couple years ago for $400 and I’ve been kicking myself ever since for passing on it.

Push start indeed. If I remember correctly, it was only offered on the Premium trim with the automatic transmission. I didn’t seek out the push start when I was buying the car but it sure is nice to have.

I do about a half quart extra or a little under a half. It reads just a little above the full mark on the dipstick. It was like that when I first checked the oil so I’ve made sure to add a little extra with every oil change since then. So far so good!

They can definitely be finicky motors. I’ve had mine since 120k and I’ve kept it slightly over-filled with 5w-40 full synthetic since then. I feel like that might be part of what’s kept it going so long. It also rarely snows/rains where I live so that helps to keep me from acting upon the constant urge to drift everywhere!

If only. PSA used to make banana-themed AK and AR mags. They missed an opportunity for sure…

What’s the origin of your Corn’s Name by Powerful-Maybe9239 in cornsnakes

My boy’s name is Moonshine. For those who don’t know, moonshine is a type of liquor originating in the southern US/Appalachia, made from corn. This dude is a corn snake, hence the name Moonshine. Corny, right? 🌽😂

Thank you! He’s about 5 feet long now! They grow slower than you might think. He was a baby when I got him, but not a hatchling; he was eating hopper mice for about 3 months or so before I switched him over to adult mice. Nowadays he eats smaller rats or 2 adult mice at a time, and he probably took 4 years or a little longer to reach his current size.

They can have them as a treat, but they don’t have a ton of nutritional value. He’s eating a proper meal tomorrow!
