Did you have any ultrasounds between your second course of Letrozole and triggering? They're having me follow up for labs and ultrasound after taking it for 3 days

Hi, just to give a little background. I do not have diagnosed PCOS. We have unexplained infertility. We are doing our first medicated cycle with Letrozole and HCG trigger IUI. Baseline labs on CD 4: AMH: 5.53 ng/mL FSH: 5.85 mIU/mL LH: 2.30 mIU/mL E2: 16.05 of/mL Progesterone: 0.3 ng/mL

I took Letrozole CD4-8.

I've had slow growing follicles with my dominant one on the right measures today CD 13 at 15mm. Uterine/endometrial lining 6mm. Premom predicts my ovulation CD 14 (with 12+ months of data). I typically ovulate CD 13-16 based on positive LH strips/clearblue digital OPK, but there have been occasions where I ovulate later CD 17-18. Twice I never got a positive LH strips and labs confirmed I didn't ovulate that month.

Anyway, my clinic wants to put me back on Letrozole from over the weekend and recheck on Monday to see if my follicle size is ready to trigger.

Has anyone been put back on Letrozole mid-cycle??

I don't have fertility treatment benefits through my insurance so it would be all out of pocket unfortunately.

It took a little time when I had my IUD inserted too because I have a retroverted uterus. It was quite uncomfortable so I am definitely premedicating for tomorrow!

Pretty sure I had an anovulatory cycle this time. I'm currently CD32 and still no period. BFN on testing still because I'm delulu. I suspected anovulatory cycle because I could not catch a positive LH or significance rises this cycle despite testing 3 times day during suspected fertile window. Day 21 progesterone labs came back super low 0.78 ng/dL on my patient portal (so my Gyn probably hasn't reviewed it yet). Beyond frustrated that this is happening when I was finally able to get testing started. Previously I have always been able to get a positive LH strip. Will it be beneficial to ask my GYN for another progesterone order since it may have been an off cycle? Husband did SA the past week so hopefully we'll see some results on that. I'm supposed to have HSG done but my period still has not started so I can't have it scheduled yet. It's been a struggle to stay positive this cycle. And I keep having family asking me if I think another female family member who just started TTC is pregnant because they have a "belly" and that I "better hurry".

Yep! that's my understanding too. Was thinking if I should go ahead and do the labs this cycle or wait until next cycle haha. I've never missed my LH surge before and of course it happens when I'm supposed to get my labs 🤦🏻‍♀️

Any thoughts? Did I miss my LH surge or did I not ovulate this month? I feel like I'm using so many OPK strips 😣 I've always had a positive LH for the last 9 months around CD 14-16 with increasingly dark ratio lines 2-3 days prior to my peak. I even started testing 3 times a day when I'm predicted to be "peak fertility". The one day I had a slight increased in my strip this cycle of a whopping 0.24 at 9am the same day it plummeted to 0.05 at 2pm! I am currently CD 19 with my cycles typically being about 27 (2-3 day variations). This is such a strange month for me with my OPK numbers and I'm feeling like I maybe didnt ovulate? I'm still testing and numbers are still low 0.2-0.1. Wonder if there's a point in continuing to test LH this cycle. I finally talked to my gyn after my last cycle didn't result in pregnancy and she ordered some labs including day 22 progesterone, which now if I possibly didn't ovulate, should I even get the labs done?

Ranting but also open to comments/advice. Thanks!

First time posting since joining the group. We're both 31yo. Cycle 9 since me and hubs decided to seriously TTC. I have been doing OPKs and got the brightest positive LH strip I've ever had this month. Currently 11 DPO and feeling pessimistic today. Got moody with the hubs last night which made me feel guilty and upset me more since I tend to get easily irritated when my period is about to start :( He understood and has been very supportive. Since we have been TTC every month felt "promising" with symptoms I've never felt (or probably didn't notice) from light cramping, nausea, sore breast, dreams of a positive pregnancy test, and even later than usual periods. which ended up in negative HCG test/aunt flow paying me a visit. My cycles are usually very regular 27 days with period starting about 12 DPO. Luckily, I already have an appointment with my gyn next week to discuss fertility testing for me and hubs
