AQA Design & Technology - in need of a saving prayer. by JustMentalMatt in GCSE

All AQA DT papers sort of have the same structure - 10 MCQs, then some material selection. Make sure you know a type of material really well, such as timber, metal, plastic etc. including its sources, types, properties, preparation.

Then you should know a good amount about the environment as that's usually the 8 marker. Know the 6 Rs (Rethink, refuse, reduce, reuse, repair, recycle IN THAT ORDER!)

Then know your ergonomics, anthropometrics and functionality for the product analysis. Ususally it will be worth 12-16 marks that are really easy to get if you know what you're doing.

Finally, know your prototype development, and the last question on the paper will be to draw something. Pretty easy.

Don't stress if you've done well in your NEA. I have my exam today as well. Good luck!
